Comitas Isla del Aire

Well done Islas del Aire-Fantastic, yet again. This venue continues to get better and better. This was our 16th time at the complex and they have improved on what I considered perfection anyway. This complex of just 60 well appointed apartments, 30 ground floor with their own patio and gardens with private sun beds and 30 first floor with balcony. All have pool views, due to its safe layout and some rooms with sea views. Perfect for self catering but we did bed and breakfast. Their breakfast choice is so extensive. It is situated about 250 m from a superb beach, surrounded by no less than 8 good quality bars and restaurants if you fancy trying various Mediterranean dishes as well as other options. The staff at the complex are all friendly and helpful and Paul and Miguel ensure all are well looked after. Cleaning staff are discreet and friendly. The layout of the complex allows them to service the rooms without affecting those on holiday there. I have reviewed this complex before and the fact that we and many others return is testament to its quality with reviews making it one of the highest on the island of Menorca. It is justified. I am happy to answer any questions. My wife and I will be back. One of their best upgrades are the ropes off gardens with your own private sun beds. Brilliant idea and clear investment in what I consider the Jewel of this island.

Nice family friendly apartments. Very clean and well maintained. We were in a ground floor one which was ideal with its private garden area and two sunbeds. Staff friendly and efficient. Poolside bar had very reasonable prices. Self catering so didn't try the restaurant. Evening entertainment was only on every second night but was OK. Only downside was the barman just couldn't make a good Pina Colada. Overall we enjoyed our holiday, granddaughter loved the pool. She was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a kids club. There was a kids room but she didn't use it much. Resort had a great beach just a five minute walk from apartments. Choice of eight/nine restaurants to choose from all ok with similar menus.

We love Menorca and have visited the island many times and whilst we have stayed at a number of resorts, we keep coming back to the Isla Del Aire aparthotel. The small complex is a two minute walk from the beach and local restaurants and is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. The site is spacious and the apartments are all located around the pool. The apartments are clean and airy with the typical basic kitchen equipment one associates with self catering apartments. The beds are comfy and the air conditioning works well. Rooms are cleaned daily if you want, and towels can also be changed daily if you need. Staff are really friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The pool is a decent size with a separate children's pool for toddlers - it's a good temperature too. There is no music played (or when it is, it is quiet) around the pool so whilst you may say it lacks atmosphere, it is also great if you want to relax and read without having music pumping away in the background. Similarly, the pool is not taken over by people playing water polo in the afternoons either. The breakfast option is good value and it is one of the few places where the buffet is actually still hot - bed and breakfast is recommended. If you want clean, spacious apartments, friendly staff and a quiet location, you won't go wrong here. We will be back in 2024.

Just got back had a lovely peaceful week the staff were brilliant from the reception to bar and restaurant and the cleaning staff we stayed half board food lovely always found something to eat we loved it that much we already booked for next year.

We have just returned from Isla Del Aire apartments. A lovely holiday with our daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. We had a 2 bedroomed ground floor apartment with garden. Our granddaughter loved it. So safe for her to play in. She loved the staff they were so good with her especially Oskar who she ran to everyday. Apartments were very clean with excellent house staff. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. We ate at the local restaurants every night which were within easy reach. We would certainly return here, it was so personal. Thank you for such a lovely holiday to all the staff.

We stayed in Mid September for 10 nights on a Half Board basis., The Hotel surpassed our expectations in all aspects. From the friendly welcome at check in to check out, all the staff were really helpful and friendly during our stay. Our one bedroom Apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean and was regularly cleaned and serviced throughout our stay with regular towel changes. We can honestly say that this is the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed in, the maids worked really hard and kept the apartment and communal areas clean throughout our stay. We were on a Half Board basis so didn't really use the apartment for cooking but it was well equipped. The bed was comfortable and with the peace and quiet we slept really well every night. The only slight downside of the apartment was the shower which ran really hot and really cold but there was always a plentiful supply of hot water. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice and the hot options were always piping hot. We ate in the restaurant every night and found the food to be of good quality with lots of choice. We enjoyed the entertainment on three nights during our stay. We weren't expecting any! The pool area is fab with no rush for sun beds in a morning and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We loved our stay and would return to this Hotel without hesitation if we came back to Punta Prima, although the resort was a little bit on the quiet side for us. A wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous 17 day stay there, our first since retiring in the summer. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was spacious, clean, and serviced daily if required. All amenities were fine for self catering, but we only used them for making breakfast, choosing to eat out in the nearby restaurants for other meals. Pool area and gardens also clean and well maintained, plenty of sunbed spaces, though we went end Sept, early Oct. Good reports from others re the on site restaurant, though we didn't use it. There are three supermarkets, one on-site, two 5 mins stroll away. Punta Prima itself is a 5 minute walk, with about half a dozen restaurants. So we cycled through them. Enjoyed Aire, Can Santi, Oveja Negra. Wouldn't recommend El Faro. Wife loved the fusion food at Casa Fermin, but that closed for the season after one visit. Further afield we enjoyed bus trips to Mahon and beyond, plus plenty of walking along the coastal path and along the small traffic free lanes. Also recommend taking an electric bike trip organised by Mister bike tours at the end of the ***** in Punta Prima. All in, really enjoyed staying at Isla Del Aire and exploring the surrounding area. Prefect start to retirement.

This was a great find for us as it is a lovely place.We stayed for one night before going into a villa in Punta Prima,but we wish we had stayed the whole week. We arrived late at night,following a delay,but the reception remained open and the guy was very polite and friendly.They even made us toasted sandwiches,although the kitchen was closed,and nothing seemed to much trouble. Although we vacated our room at 11.00 am,we were able to wait at the pool area and eat and drink until we could get into our villa. We have booked a 14 night stay for next year,because it is hard to find a place that is welcoming,friendly,clean and serve great food. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family holiday.
