I stayed at Wadi Sabarah for ten days in June 2025, and it was the most heavenly and peaceful holiday. No kids, no chaos, no „touristy“ vibes. Just the rare luxury of silence, excellent hospitality, slow living and a sustainable environment. Having traveled far and wide, I can say Wadi Sabarah is truly unique and would come back in a heartbeat. I recommend that you look nofurther if you are looking for something like that. This place and its cultured atmosphere is a 12 out of 10. The most important thing: Everything at Wadi Sabarah is made and done with love. Such things are very rare in this world, so the hotel is a quiet kind of miracle. It is obvious that the owner Sami loves this place and tends to it like it was the light of his life. He and his team have put a lot of thought and effort into creating an upscale vibe which is eco-friendly but still lavish, and ultimately reflects the country's rich history, its long-standing legacy of hospitality, and its grace. The staff at Wadi Sabarah is truly exceptional — it is their dedication and care that make this place not just functional, but truly unique. Their hard work might often go unnoticed or taken for granted, but it made all the difference to me in creating a wonderful experience of quiet luxury. F&B manager Nabil goes to great lengths to make sure that all guests have a great experience, moving quietly and discreetly, he knows all names, room numbers and personal preferences in the blink of an eye and, with his great knowledge and expertise, he is the go-to person for all kinds of recommendations and requests. His staff is outstanding, especially Sherif, Mina and Imad were very attentive to all guests. As I was travelling alone, it was important to me that I could enjoy my meals peacefully and quietly, which was respected and supported by placing me in quiet corners, but they also always had time for a quick chat. Said, the baker, kindly let me try to make my own Egyptian bread, which was so funny. Chico, the poolboy, is so helpful and always looks out for all guests. A round of chess with the manager was greatly appreciated. At reception, Hassen greets you warmly and handles every request patiently and efficiently. The friendly housekeeping keeps the rooms spotless and comfortable, making sure everything feels just right. The proud gardeners maintain the grounds beautifully, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The cleaning crew quietly does their job with love. Truly, the staff's hard work and their love for this place shows in every detail. Shokran to everyone who made me feel at home here. The architecture, construction materials and interior design at Wadi Sabarah have been chosen with great respect to excellence, the environment and reverence for a desert aesthetic. You can see that the place was carefully planned, with a lot of attention to details and allowing for the luxury of wide open spaces which really let me feel at peace and at one with the surroundings. Wadi Sabarah Lodge is unlike any hotel I've stayed at in Egypt before, and I absolutely loved it. We were a party of 3 (myself, my sister and my brother in law) and we primarily chose the hotel because of the on site dive centre. The hotel is quite new (2 years old I believe) and we so enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could want in a hotel room, including a great view of the beach and sunrise every morning. The tranquil atmosphere at the hotel is wonderful, peaceful and chilled is the best way to describe the place. The open air, first floor restaurant over looking the pool with a view all the way to the beach is terrific. And the food is a revelation. All completely authentic Egyptian meals, although there is an a la carte menu if you want more western style food. I tried dishes I never would have thought I would, and they were delicious. Plentiful as well, they were always happy to bring more of something if you liked it and wanted more. The staff are so friendly and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you. From the managers, through to the restaurant staff, and to the back room team looking after the rooms, they all wanted you to have the best stay ever, and we definitely did. And should you want to dive, the onsite Emperor dive centre is on the beach. Experienced guides, excellent back room team and great organization. We had a great time with them. We are already planning a return visit and can thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's probably not for everyone, but we loved it. Julia, Fran and Roge

Very different to the run-of-the-mill Egyptian resort hotels. The owner clearly has a deep affection for his culture and a strong commitment to eco-tourism which shines through in the way the hotel is designed and run. The complex is around two years old and fairly small (around 60 rooms). Built out of local stone to a high standard of architecture. The room we stayed in was a junior suite and enormous - really nice. There is an onsite dive centre (Emperor) and many of the guests when we were there were out during the day either diving or on other excursions which meant it was unbelievably quiet and peaceful. The 'library' is full of books and local artefacts whilst in the basement the owner has put together what can only be described as a museum dedicated to Egyptian costumes and other artefacts. Outside at the bottom of the hill is a large 'botanic garden' full of desert plants which leads down to a secluded beach. This is probably a hotel for 'grown-ups' who want a high-quality peaceful stay with great food, no pool music and fantastic accommodation. We will be back

a very beautiful place. we enjoyed it alot. so much more peaceful than all the other hotels we have been to in Egypt. a quiet place with not too many people, excellent food (you can't choose a la carte; so basically you can choose between "with meat/Fish" or vegeterian, but it's so good!!!) and very nice staff members. Especially the boys at the restauant! we would come back here!

We stayed at Wadi Sabarah the last week of 2024. We loved every bit of our stay at this beautiful place. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and good food. Go to Wadi Sabarah if you are looking for a small, boutique-style hotel with excellent service, a place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the desert and the Red Sea. Don't go there if you are looking for a typical all-inclusive formula with entertainment programs, buffet-style restaurants, loud music, etc. We also dived with Emperor Divers, who have a dive center at Wadi Sabarah. They offer a combination of shore dives, day-trip boat dives, and a house reef.

An amazing place, very down to earth, very simple and grounding. It is a place where you go and disconnect with all electronics, so no TVs and no phone in the room. They have this QR code that you scan in case you want to communicate with customer service to ask for an extra towel, room cleaning ... Anything you need. They have a diving center, they are plastic free, so they give you a glass bottle that you can refill when necessary. I would recommend you get your flask so you can easily carry it around and refill whenever. A very serene view, I believe all rooms are sea view. I'll show you some pictures! Enjoy!!
