Fantazia Resort Marsa Alam

We stayed at Fantazia Resort & Spa Marsa Alam (room 2102 Serena) and had a truly wonderful holiday! The hotel is beautiful, with a spacious and very well-kept territory. There are many large pools, plenty of sunbeds always available, and no feeling of overcrowding – everything is perfectly organized for comfort and relaxation. The food is excellent, with a great variety every day. The meat dishes in particular were outstanding, and the à la carte restaurant left a very pleasant impression - I would only advise adding more vegetables to such a large amount of delicious meat. The spa was also a real highlight, offering a perfect way to relax and recharge. The sea is amazing – crystal clear water full of life if you go in from the pier. The shoreline is rocky, so swimming from the beach isn’t possible, but entering from the pier makes it an unforgettable experience. The bartenders are very friendly, always smiling, and happy to serve good beer and wine. Service at the bars and restaurants is quick and attentive – drinks are even brought right to the table, which we really appreciated. And a special thanks goes to Ali, who took care of our room (2102). It was always spotless and fresh. He constantly made sure we had everything we needed and left a very warm impression – thanks to him, we truly felt at home. Overall, Fantazia Resort & Spa gave us one of the best vacations we’ve had. We felt relaxed, well taken care of, and very comfortable. Highly recommended – we would love to return!

There are beautiful beaches here, one is the best. We had no problems with anything. We enjoyed it very much, we highly recommend it

Room is great, sea is good, however reef is almost dead, but big amount of colourful fish is available, food is enough, but poor choice for breakfast, especially for kids. Aquapark is good, animation separated for italian kids and others. However, animator Darina is super attentive and kind

I was there with my son for Christmas and it was amazing. I especially have to highlight the chef Mahmoud, always with a smile on his face, even when he was tired. His grilled chicken was TOP. And the eggs in the morning too. Heated pools, amazing water slides for kids. The pool was heated there too. We enjoyed our vacation and will definitely be back.

Review of Hotel Fantázia Hotel Fantázia was recommended to us through a travel agency, which guaranteed that extending our check-out would not be a problem since we were leaving in the evening. The regular check-out is at 12:00, but we needed the room until 9 PM. At the reception, it was pure chaos. First, they told us to come later and they would sort it out. The second time, they said it wasn’t possible because the hotel was “fully booked” – which is ridiculous at the end of the season when it was obvious they were not full. The receptionist then promised to call the manager and asked us to come back in an hour. When we returned, there was another person at the desk, and suddenly the story was the same: the hotel was full. But magically, if we paid $120, then they weren’t “full” anymore and we could stay. This is outright lying and an attempt to rip guests off. Charging $120 just for 9 extra hours is absurd. A fair price would be around $50, but what they tried to do was outrageous. To be clear: we are writing this review today, September 11th, while we are still in the hotel. Our check-out is tomorrow, September 12th, and we are flying home on September 13th at 2 AM. Instead of enjoying our last days, we are being stressed by dishonest treatment at the reception. Hotel Fantázia is completely unprofessional – they mislead guests, change their answers, and see how much they can get away with. You don’t feel welcome here, only cheated. I would never recommend this place and will never come back.
