Lovely well laid out and good access to a nice clean beach. Buffet options are great

My first time in Egypt. January is rather warm, not many people. Very good hotel, a lot of trees and flowers, clean beach! Big swimming pool, many restaurants and bars. Different food in restaurants. Good service (Mahmoud - friendly staff on the beach!))

We booked all inclusive for 7 nights from 17 to 24 August 2023. 2 adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 3. Firstly it is not an all inclusive resort. You only find out when you check in. There is nothing on the holiday websites or indeed their own to confirm this. It's an all inclusive resort with severe restrictions. The photos on the websites are old / dated and misleading. 1. Food places are open at certain times. 2. You only get one bottled water each day if thats not enough you have to pay for extra water. So if you drink tea or coffee you're pretty much screwed. 3. Waterpark is open at 11am till 1pm and 3pm till 5pm. However the snack bar there is open at 1pm till 3pm. Ice cream you have to pay for it. So no snacks / food whilst the waterpark is open. That's ridiculous. 4. You must pay for any drinks (yes including soft drinks) after 11pm. Area / Resort There is absolutely nothing around here. It is in the middle of nowhere. You can see a few resorts at night but they are miles away. The beach is OK - it's just the residence of Movenpick - no one else as there is no other resorts close by or within the vicinity. Room We booked a double deluxe room. I sought confirmation directly from the hotel after paying the deposit. The hotel confirmed via email that it would accomodate the 4 of us and comfortably. Despite seeking confirmation they didn't confirm what beds would be in the room. On checking in we were given room 4179 - you can see the waterpark from the balcony. This was a family room. Whether this is the same as the double deluxe room we booked I don't know. They said it was. I somehow think otherwise. The family room consisted of one double bed and 2 sofa beds. Yes 2 sofa beds which you have to make each night - fancy that every night whilst on holiday with kids. We'll I did not fancy that so I showed my email correspondence with the hotel and then they said OK well get you another single bed and you can still have the 2 sofa beds, if you need them you can use them. I asked who would make the sofa beds each night. The concierge guy (Muhannd) looked at me and said you sir. He then said you look after me and I'll look after you. I didn't know what he meant immediately but then it rang a bell. Ah yes you want me to pay you. So you tip them well regularly they'll do it for you. He wanted a tip for bringing the single bed so I did. I mean he wouldn't leave the room. Just stood there say "anything else", "you happy" "I have to go, can you". He was so insistent and waved his fingers seeking money. I knew what he wanted. So tipped him very well (200 Egyptian Pounds) as I had no change or small notes. We slept on the double and the single, didn't need the sofa beds to sleep on so no need to pay the extra cash under the table. The rooms are dated. Curtains falling off. Sockets broken. Switches won't work. We had a long lamp in the room connected to a socket so they were aware of the lighting in the room. Bed is OK. Room size would be

Absolutely fantastic location and territory of the hotel pushing you to love this place with no other choice. Perfect organization for qualify service and items care from quality manager. If work for services works well organized your vacation will be perfect . MOVENPICK perfect for us. Very friendly staff. Room was perfect with nice view and daily cleaning. Restaurant serve nice food with many choices. A large carte restaurants offering unique menus. We recommended to all around the world.

In the hotel everything is ok, animation boy so amazing guys, service very helpful for you. Food and drinks nice. Around hotel is nothing, safari 🤣 This is my first holiday in Egypt but not last.😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇🤩🤩🤩🤩
