Only a short stay, very large room kept nice and clean. Lovely animation team working hard to make your holiday fun. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Didn't really eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food

The hotel was absolutely fantastic, great food. My girlfriend has a nut allergy and they couldn't be more helpful Chef Ahmed Haredy was particularly helpful every night. Bebo on the Piano Bar was also great, he made our holiday so much fun, really such a lovely bloke. The three pools and beach, are fantastic excellent food on the beach bar particularly the lunch we had prepared by Kareem who again was polite and couldn't do enough for us. Parasailing was available on the beach jetty and was a great experience, you just need to book a day in advance. We chose to avoid the hotel shop after a bad experience we found the shopkeeper a bit rude and wouldn't budge on very high prices, but there is a Metro store 30 seconds from the hotel gates which is great. We would also recommend the hotel update there hairdryers in the rooms as ours kept overheating. Despite these couple of small issues we would 100% book again as we had an absolutely fantastic stay

One word defines my stay at Aurora Oriental Resort: people. I planned my trip through Egypt (Cairo, River Nile - Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, etc) to end at Sharm El Sheik, to scuba dive and relax. Even arriving at 1am at this nice resort, they quickly prepared a light meal for me and my group. At the restaurant, on the beach, everywhere in the resort, all the staff smile to you and do all efforts to assist you. I really felt comfortable there and surely recommend the place for everyone!

The hotel it self is in a good location, grounds are very clean, staff are very helpful and this is as far as it goes. When we checked in the first room they gave us (on ground floor No 127) the bedroom was ok but the bathroom, well there was a hole in the bath and it had been filled in with plaster which had a crack in it, so went back to reception and told them, we was told to go and get some food and come back later while they sorted another room which they did (119), again the room was ok but let down by the bathroom which needed a good revamp, The food at the hotel was ok ish, we knew what it was going to be like as we have been to Egypt a few times now and we do go and eat out a few times while we are there just to have a change of food. The pools, there are 3 of them, the relax pool which has a swim up bar BUT the pool was stone cold so we only used this the once, the main pool, again stone cold and only used the once, the water fall pool was heated (just) but was small which we didnt mind, and of course the beach which we liked, now the only down side with the beach is that the bar at the beach, when the served food, as soon as it was put out it was cold, so this did not go down well. The drinks at the hotel was ok ish, there is the pit stop bar where you pay for better drinks, but the wine is not all that and sometimes its served in paper cups, the beer is so so unless you pay for it and get a better brand. So to round this up, Hotel is def not a 5 star, staff are good and hotel is clean BUT it badly needs a revamp with the rooms, would i come back to this hotel NO.

Location is perfect close to private beach. Animations for kids and adult great and evening events as well. Food on lunch and dinner very good but breakfast wasnt tasty. The bathroom supposed looks better for 5 star hotel.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel from the 22nd of November until the 29th of November. It is the first time we have stayed in Egypt, and we really enjoyed Sharm el Sheikh and I have to say the staff at the hotel are fantastic and go that extra mile. We found the entertainment team very friendly with many activities throughout the day And we enjoyed the shows we saw in the evening with them as well. Special shout out to ***a who we thought was exceptional, and certainly an asset to the entertainment team. We spent our evenings in the lobby Bar on several occasions and although all the staff were fantastic, one Barman in particular was outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us. His name is Ahmed, who went above, and beyond to make us feel comfortable and look after us. Also, I must mention the cleaner for our room who was incredible, his attention to detail, and cleanliness was amazing. His name is also Ahmed who really looked after us. We also found the restaurant staff very very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us and we found the selection of food more than enough for us. We also had pictures taken by the photographer who produced some amazing results, and certainly would recommend him. Overall, a fantastic hotel, and from the reception staff and everybody else involved. It was a great experience and would certainly return.

We have just returned back from the most Amazing break wish we had booked for much longer. The staff are so amazing especially by the pool so friendly and kind. And the main canteen staff. I need to give a special recognition to Diana from the animation team who has been so warm and accommodating not only to my kids but to myself. always making sure we get involved in all the activities and shows, she works so hard and always has a smile on her face she was definitely the highlight to my children's stay. Thank you aurora for an excellent stay
