I've always wanted to bring my dogs to Qingdao to see the sea, imagining waking up to a sunrise from bed and capturing some amazing photos. 🏨: Parkview Hotel - Qilan Haiju This is truly the best pet-friendly hotel I've ever stayed at, both in terms of service and beauty. 🐕 About pet-friendliness This place is genuinely pet-friendly! I was so pleasantly surprised to see a printed photo of my dogs when checking in! The butler thoughtfully prepared dog food, treats, pee pads, and even tear stain wipes for the pups. The hotel staff are all animal lovers, making the experience absolutely perfect. 🍽️ Accommodation We stayed in the 206 sea-view room, which offered an incredibly expansive view directly facing the ocean. You can watch the sunrise over the sea in the mornings, and breakfast can even be delivered to your room. It was such a joy to watch the sunrise and have breakfast with my dogs. Plus, the entire room has floor heating, so it was super warm – perfect for my southern dogs! 🍰 Dining Enjoying afternoon tea while listening to the waves was incredibly relaxing. The hotel offers dinner options, and there are many restaurants nearby. We tried the local 'family portrait' dumplings in the evening, and they were absolutely divine! Mackerel dumplings are definitely a specialty of my beloved Qingdao. Already looking forward to my next trip to Qingdao!

The room was incredibly clean, I wasn't worried about my kids running around barefoot at all! The toiletries were super comprehensive, they even had makeup remover, face masks, and a curling iron! The environment was also really nice!

Cleanliness: The hygiene standards at this hotel-style guesthouse were exceptionally high. Environment: Located right by the sea, the ocean views from our east-facing window were absolutely breathtaking, especially catching the sunrise – what a thrilling experience! Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, they called, we connected on WeChat, and they even set up a group chat with nine dedicated staff members who were always ready to help. The team was exceptionally attentive, always hustling and responding quickly to any requests or issues, much like caring family members. Professional Photography: The photographer was wonderfully patient; they even waited half an hour for me while I finished my meal. I felt completely comfortable selecting my photos without any pressure. I ended up choosing five extra shots, simply out of appreciation for their patience. The photo editing was quick and high-quality, and they were very accommodating about discussing color tones to ensure I was happy. Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything I needed. The waste bins were conveniently and thoughtfully placed. I particularly appreciated their commitment to sustainability: they used eco-friendly and sustainable cotton towels, and all toiletries were biodegradable and earth-friendly 🌍. Dining: The breakfast was nutritious and healthy, with perfectly sized portions – and you could always ask for more. Their coffee was also Instagram-worthy! We found their group dining package to be incredibly good value. Plus, if you couldn't finish your meal, the restaurant was happy to reheat it for you, which was a lovely touch and great for reducing waste. Welcome Snacks: The small welcome snacks were a truly thoughtful gesture. Thoughtful Gift Bag (Skincare): Even though I didn't personally use the complimentary gift bag containing makeup remover and skincare items, it was a very warm and considerate touch.

Our spacious family suite, split over two levels, is perfect for families with children. The kids immediately fell in love with the slide room, sliding all the way down to be greeted by an absolutely stunning sea view. You can watch the sunrise and sunset right from your bed. The room was fully equipped with a window-side bathtub, a separate wet and dry bathroom, complimentary disposable toiletries, and welcome snacks – truly everything you could possibly need. The reception staff were warm and friendly, and all the staff members were incredibly patient and gentle with the children. They even thoughtfully created a welcome display using our WeChat profile pictures. The cafe, book bar, and restaurant all boast large floor-to-ceiling windows offering magnificent sea views. We enjoyed spending a leisurely afternoon there, sipping afternoon tea, admiring the ocean, and reading picture books with the kids. In the evening, you can even go clamming right on the beach below. The travel photography service offered by the guesthouse was also excellent. The photographer was very patient and gave professional posing guidance, resulting in fantastic photos!

Our room featured floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the sea, along with a bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak with an ocean view. The triple family room included three complimentary breakfasts, offering a good variety of dishes. The only slight drawback was its distance from the Yangkou Tourist Center; walking there in summer would be uncomfortably hot.

This guesthouse is managed by a professional team and boasts its own unique style. They also have branches in other cities across the country, such as Jiande, Hangzhou. Our room had a lovely sea view, and the courtyard, with its pine trees, was incredibly photogenic. The service was excellent! Highly recommended. Just two things to be aware of if you're planning a visit: firstly, expect traffic congestion from 10 AM to 4 PM. Secondly, definitely avoid the Laoshan Yangkou Scenic Area during summer – it's absolutely sweltering! We went up by cable car only to immediately take it back down.
