A truly satisfying stay! I arrived quite early, around 10 AM, and was initially concerned about not being able to check in. However, the friendly lady at the front desk immediately processed my check-in, so I didn't have to wait until the afternoon. She even kindly upgraded my room! The room itself was incredibly spacious and decorated in my favorite style, making it feel just like home. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the main tourist attractions. Getting around by subway was super convenient, with the subway entrance only about 20 meters from the hotel. I did a lot of research before booking and ultimately chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao as it offered the best value for money. They also gave me a significant discount for extending my stay by two nights. I'm genuinely thrilled with my choice, thank you so much!

I had booked a king room, but upon arrival, the front desk upgraded me to a high-floor suite. While the room's facilities were a bit dated, it was impeccably clean and offered a panoramic view, allowing us to watch the light show right from our room. The shower had excellent water pressure. The hotel's location is fantastic, making it very convenient to get around. The breakfast was standard fare but had all the essentials. Room service was very prompt, and all the staff were exceptionally polite and always greeted guests. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Absolutely five stars! My stay here far exceeded all expectations. Nancy Shi from hotel sales was incredibly warm and attentive, diligently noting down all our needs. To my pleasant surprise, upon check-in, she had not only arranged our preferred room type but also kindly upgraded us! The moment we stepped into the room, we were absolutely blown away by the stunning sea view from the window. It was truly breathtaking; just relaxing in the room felt like a pure luxury. Many thanks to Nancy for her dedication and help, which ensured our trip got off to a wonderful start. Highly recommended!

Angel was incredibly kind and gave us a really nice room. As a result, we happily extended our stay in the same room for two more days – it was still fantastic! We ordered food delivery multiple times, and the robot always brought it up incredibly fast. However, parking was a bit chaotic. Taxis on the slope at the entrance were particularly problematic; they often wouldn't move even when politely asked, only budging after a more insistent, sometimes even confrontational, request. It would be great if the hotel could manage these vehicles blocking the entrance more effectively.

## Five-Star Recommendation | Flawless Location and Service, Perfect for Families To avoid the summer crowds, we took advantage of the tail end of the vacation to visit Qingdao with our child for a few relaxing days. Our little one was keen to see the May Fourth Square night view and enjoy the sea breeze. As for us, we've always trusted IHG's Crowne Plaza brand, and the Qingdao Yizhong Crowne Plaza, a well-established local five-star hotel, has an excellent reputation and came highly recommended by friends. We booked it without a second thought. The hotel boasts an excellent location – it's just a ten-minute walk to the Olympic Sailing Center, an ideal spot to admire the May Fourth Square night view. What's even better for families is that the walk to the Olympic Sailing Center takes you past large supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and a lively beer night market. All your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs are covered, making travel with kids completely stress-free. That evening, we enjoyed a boat tour, admiring the light show up close while our child enthusiastically ran around. Back at the hotel, we were treated to Qingdao's dazzling night views from different angles in our high-floor room, offering a breathtaking panorama that seamlessly blended sea, land, and sky. As an established property, the hotel's decor and facilities, while showing some age, are very well-maintained, clean, tidy, and fully functional. When compared to similar hotels in the area, its location, service, and price offer an excellent match, providing truly reasonable value for money. A particular highlight is the indoor swimming pool on B2. It's exceptionally clean, with a perfect water temperature. The shallow area is ideal for children learning to swim, providing both safety and peace of mind. Our child absolutely had a blast there. The hotel's service is professional and attentive, truly reflecting its five-star standard. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and excellent quality. Getting around is also incredibly convenient; to visit Mount Laoshan or the old town, simply go downstairs and cross the street to find a subway station, which is much more hassle-free than taking a taxi. A special thank you goes to Manager Chen from the Sales Department, who meticulously arranged our room and provided detailed explanations. The room's stunning view ultimately delighted our entire family, making our stay incredibly comfortable and pleasant, and fulfilling our child's wish. We have a small suggestion regarding the room: it would be more convenient if the suite had 1-2 extra boxes of tissues, and perhaps the tissue quality could be slightly improved. In summary, our stay was absolutely perfect and truly enhanced our Qingdao vacation. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

The hotel experience truly exceeded all my expectations. Amy at the front desk was incredibly attentive and patient, and even upgraded me to a suite. Honestly, while the facilities at these established five-star hotels might seem a little dated, the service quality and comfort they provide are simply unmatched by many of today's newer, internet-famous hotels. The hotel's location is also fantastic, conveniently situated right by a subway entrance. The breakfast was also superb. Across the street, the 'Boluoyouzi' was delicious, as was the barbecue joint next to a nearby yogurt shop. Overall, it was easily the best experience during my 6-day stay in Qingdao.

The service was great; all the staff were very helpful and attentive, with the notable exception of the lady at the pool reception. I'm not sure what she thought she was so superior about; she was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes. The location was acceptable, especially considering the price, which offered much better value compared to hotels just a couple of hundred meters closer to the beach. However, the facilities and hygiene were quite disappointing. Everything felt incredibly old and dated, and a bug suddenly crawling out was truly startling. From now on, I'll definitely need to factor in the hotel's age when making bookings.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Olympic Sailing Center, with excellent transport links. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, all within easy walking distance. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite. Since we were traveling with seniors and children and had a lot of luggage, the concierge proactively helped us with our bags to the room. The hotel offers on-site parking, which is great for guests traveling by car. The swimming pool is free for guests, and the children absolutely loved it. Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

I received a free upgrade to a suite. The room was very spacious; while not brand new, it was clean and well-maintained. It featured two bathrooms, one of which was particularly large. The hotel's location is excellent, with subway and bus stops right next door. There's also a large shopping mall nearby, offering a supermarket, extensive shopping, and various dining options, making it incredibly convenient. Plenty of restaurants are available directly across the street as well. Overall, my stay was fantastic.

The location is fantastic, right outside the Kagoshima Station subway entrance, which is incredibly convenient. Ambiance: The overall ambiance is excellent. Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: Warm and attentive. Breakfast had a limited variety, and the seating was cramped with no staff to guide patrons. To my surprise, when I just stood up to get some watermelon, they cleared my unfinished plate!

Very very good! The only shortcoming is too many people in morning buffet. The hotel should open another space for morning buffet in hot seasons.

Nice hotel in Qingdao close to the May 4th square and the Olympic Sailing Marina. Good rooms and well maintained. Perfect for a weekend stay.
