When I called to book a room, the person who answered the phone wasn't very pleasant. They spoke quite rudely. I asked about breakfast and was told to just 'come and see for myself,' which was annoying. However, when I checked in at the front desk, the experience was great! The service was excellent, the staff were very polite and professional. The front desk was also very accommodating and helped with all my requests. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Oh, and the scent in the lobby is really nice! Overall, a great stay!

Oh this was the best apartment we stayed so far in Qingdao... worth every penny We stayed here total for 14 days on December The staff very very helpful and friendly...they will always help you with your issues...the mineral waters...toilets tissues...face tissues...kitchen equipment cause you can cook...they have microwave and electric stove... So close to the night market and Qingdao beer museums just by walk around 15 minute you will get there... The facility are great you can wash and dry your clothes here...and also iron your clothes...they have 4 machine of washer and 4 machine of dryer... When you want to order foods you just can ask the front desk to help you to order and they can order the foods using their ”waimai” account and we can pay directly to them... They also have section for our ”Taobao” online shoppong things....when it arrives you can check the section to find your own package...no one will stole your package...it's 100% save... The bed also big...I stayed at the room with 55M2 but it's all complete...we got 2 rooms with double bed each 1.8M at upstairs Downstairs we have kitchen dining table , living room and 1 bathroom with bathup... Never thought that our trip in Qingdao will be this great... Qingdao really one of breathtaking city...

GGuest UserI bought an early high-speed train ticket, so I chose a hotel closer to the North Station. It was a quick taxi ride to the station. The hotel upgraded my room and even prepared a 'grab-and-go' breakfast for me. I stayed two nights and didn't experience any noise. Overall, everything was pretty good, definitely worth recommending.

Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant. GGuest UserHotel was very nice. Two big beds, nice restroom. The TV was next to the wall and close to the beds so it was tight and could have easily bumped into it. It was a little hot in the room but other than that, clean, modern, and had all the amenities. Bathroom was big and luxurious and finally the breakfast buffet was incredible. In China, the staff do not smile as much as those in Japan but get used to it. To get to this airport hotel, i had to find the #1 gate on the 4F walk down a long corridor and then turn left. Look for VIP signs. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the price was only like $78 Canadian for one night which is a lot for their standards. Highly recommended. It was a one night layover so I went downtown but the last train back was 10pm. I didn't know that from using AMap, the maps program in China, and missed it. It cost me $30. I had to negotiate with the driver who first suggested 200 RMB ($40). He then lowered it to 180, 160 but I said 130 and then he said 150 because he had to pay a 20 rmb toll. I used alipay and paid it. I guess i forgot to tip. Nice hotel overall. Only a few people ate the breakfast buffet at 5:45am.

GGuest UserDefinitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.
