We loved our weekend stay here as a quiet and green nature getaway from Shanghai (3hr train ride). We arrived late in the evening, but the provided taxi service from Qingtian was great (40mins, 80rmb). Our host Nancy was so sweet, spoke great English, made us wonderful coffees and even took us on a little tour of the village and vegetable gardens. The accomodation is in a small village with 500yo houses, where mostly elderly people still live. We went on two nice 2-3hrs hikes, to the waterfalls and temple and towards another village. Food was great too: lovely rice flake porridge and many other things for breakfast, free tea and snacks, and in the evening we got a lovely noodle soup. Our lastminute vegetarian request was easily accomodated. Bed and shower were lovely and a good heater was provided to warm the room. Would definitely recommend, we hope to come back in spring to see the flower fields!

The appearance is better than the inside. The insects and cockroaches visible to the naked eye in the room have been bitten by several bags. The whole village is quiet and quaint. When I was out of luck, the river at the door was dry, and the feeling of agility was lost.

The experience is superb. I originally wanted to find a place not far from Shanghai to rest for two days, read a book and stare in a daze. As a result, it made me feel very good. First of all, the location is very distinctive, the climate is pleasant, and the transportation is convenient. The style of the homestay is very comfortable, and it feels like just going home. I basically have three meals a day. Every dish made by my aunt is super delicious, especially the local rice and field fish. It is quiet at night and the village is very clean. There are very few mosquitoes. Although I didn't go to the surrounding attractions, I didn't have enough to drink tea and read in the yard.
Will definitely come again, the lovely housekeeper gave a small gift when I left, very considerate.
