Grand Hotel Qinhuang

Facilities: As an older hotel, the facilities are indeed quite dated. It's fine if you're looking for a nostalgic experience, but it falls short compared to modern smart hotels. Hygiene: Overall, it was relatively clean, but it felt a bit old and worn as soon as I entered. Environment: The location is quite good, just a short walk to the beach. Many rooms also offer direct sea views. The hotel lobby still has a grand feel. Service: The staff are quite professional, and the service is decent. However, the hotel's amenities themselves aren't great. For example, the complimentary movie viewing is actually in a small, old room with a projector. The main issue is that the internet speed is terrible, making it practically unusable. I'm not sure what the point of this 'perk' is. Transportation: It's fairly convenient, and there are a decent number of parking spaces, though it might be difficult to park during peak season. Food: The breakfast experience was average, nothing memorable. The complimentary late-night snack was quite stingy. It can't even be compared to the late-night porridge at Atour. Value for money: I'd only recommend staying here during the off-season if you want to be close to the beach; I wouldn't highly recommend it at other times.
