InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG

The hotel's service was truly outstanding. The young lady at the front desk was so patient and attentive. She even thoughtfully gave complimentary drink vouchers to the elderly guests and arranged a room close to the elevator with a fantastic view. This left us with such a wonderful impression of Quanzhou. InterContinental really lives up to its reputation as a trustworthy brand – consistently excellent!

The Taige Mall around the hotel was quite deserted and lacked vibrancy. I booked a room with a view of Jinjiang Bridge, and the scenery was excellent. The bedding was also very comfortable, which is typical for the InterContinental brand. The package I booked included afternoon tea, but the taste was really disappointing. Also, the air conditioning in the room wasn't very powerful.

The hotel's design is elegant and grand, with a distinctive local touch. The Dehua porcelain decorations are absolutely beautiful. The direct view of the Jinjiang River is incredibly expansive, and the river view is definitely worth seeing. The bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety of local specialties, and it's delicious! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The InterContinental in Quanzhou is truly excellent. The service is great; they're very proactive about opening car doors and helping with luggage. The facilities are also well-maintained. The kids really enjoyed it. It's much better than the InterContinental in Jiuzhaigou. My only minor complaint is that while the breakfast offers a wide variety, there aren't many unique or special items.

Staying at the InterContinental Quanzhou, just like Wu Lei! The lobby, inspired by the concept of 'Xuan' (a traditional Chinese pavilion), blends ancient Minnan architecture with modern design – I was immediately struck by its sophistication upon entering. The room also boasts fantastic views; the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a bright and airy feel that's incredibly comfortable. Outside, you're directly overlooking the sea, a cable-stayed bridge, and a Ferris wheel. They say there's only one thing to do at the InterContinental: lie back and watch the Ferris wheel sunset! The hotel is right next to Taihe Mall, and getting to most tourist spots and the city center only takes about 15-20 minutes by car, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the bedding is incredibly soft, and the hairdryer is excellent. All the little details are perfectly executed. Quanzhou is addictive, and I'd choose to stay at Taihe countless times again. Chinese tea set: plenty of tea varieties. Coffee capsules: convenient.

The InterContinental quality is consistently excellent. The room was spacious, and the 2-meter king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the Byredo toiletries – they smell amazing! The hotel offers fantastic views of the river, the Ferris wheel, and Jinjiang Bridge, which are stunning both day and night. Plus, there's a shopping mall downstairs, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Since I was with my younger brother, the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Quanzhou.
