Staying at the InterContinental Quanzhou, just like Wu Lei! The lobby, inspired by the concept of 'Xuan' (a traditional Chinese pavilion), blends ancient Minnan architecture with modern design – I was immediately struck by its sophistication upon entering. The room also boasts fantastic views; the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a bright and airy feel that's incredibly comfortable. Outside, you're directly overlooking the sea, a cable-stayed bridge, and a Ferris wheel. They say there's only one thing to do at the InterContinental: lie back and watch the Ferris wheel sunset!
The hotel is right next to Taihe Mall, and getting to most tourist spots and the city center only takes about 15-20 minutes by car, making it very convenient for getting around.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the bedding is incredibly soft, and the hairdryer is excellent. All the little details are perfectly executed.
Quanzhou is addictive, and I'd choose to stay at Taihe countless times again.
Chinese tea set: plenty of tea varieties.
Coffee capsules: convenient.
