Quanzhou Great Wall Days Hotel

It was just okay. I mainly chose this hotel for its family suite, but the facilities were quite old and worn out. The sofa looked so dirty that I didn't dare to sit on it. The door between the two rooms couldn't close properly! And to top it off, the shower door also wouldn't close, so it was drafty when showering! Also, the hotel doesn't provide conditioner. I thought maybe their shampoo was so good that conditioner wasn't needed, but I was clearly overthinking it – my hair felt incredibly dry and straw-like after using their shampoo. On top of that, our room's window faced the parking lot, and it was incredibly noisy at night with people driving in and out, chatting loudly by their cars, and shouting. Finally, I have to complain about the hotel breakfast – it was absolutely terrible, just awful, awful, awful…

First time staying at this hotel, and overall it was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's right by the ancient city, making it super convenient to get to attractions – they even have a shuttle cart service. Everything was very convenient.
