Quanzhou West Lake Hotel Apartment

Living by the lake, with a beautiful view right from my window. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was thoughtful, and the location was fantastic.

Staying by West Lake is definitely the best choice when visiting Quanzhou – it's quiet and spacious. Plus, the hotel entrance is right where the mini sightseeing bus starts, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions in the old town. This is an established star-rated hotel, and it feels quite grand. The bedding in the room was really comfortable.

The surroundings are fantastic; taking a walk feels like being embraced by trees in a forest, which is very pleasant. The window view is beautiful; lying in bed and watching the trees outside sway in the wind is very calming. It's perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The noodles and pancakes for breakfast were delicious, and the stir-fries at the Chinese restaurant were also tasty, highly recommended. I really enjoyed the late-night peanut soup and the handmade yogurt. The service response was very prompt.

The room is spacious and bright, directly facing West Lake. It's very close to the Minnan-Taiwan Relationship Museum and incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like West Street and Kaiyuan Temple. I highly recommend using public transport to get around. The hotel service is also very nice, breakfast is plentiful, and the delivery robot is quick (the elevators are fast and plentiful too). There's free coffee in the lobby, which I thought was a nice touch, reminiscent of 'Boyajian String Harmony'. Personally, I think this is the top choice for accommodation when visiting Quanzhou.

I was very satisfied with my choice of West Lake Hotel this time. Right downstairs is a free shuttle stop, which was incredibly convenient. After exploring the old town and getting tired, I could just hop on the shuttle back to the hotel, shower, rest, and then head out again! Plus, the hotel's scent was absolutely delightful and really to my liking!

The soundproofing is terrible. There's a connecting door between rooms that isn't even decorated. The bedsheets had holes in them, and at 5:30 PM, my room still wasn't ready for check-in. They hadn't even emptied the previous guest's teacup! For over 1000 yuan, this experience is quite disappointing.

Quanzhou West Lake Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to West Lake Park, offering great transport links. The 'Little White Car' stop right outside provides direct access to the ancient city's core. The hotel facilities are new and comprehensive, with spacious and bright rooms. Some room types even feature oversized floor-to-ceiling windows, offering expansive views of West Lake – truly a sight to behold. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, making check-in a breeze, and the intelligent robot delivery service is a convenient touch. The hotel's quiet environment makes it ideal for families or business travelers, and its high value for money makes it a fantastic choice for visiting Quanzhou.

The hotel service was excellent, and the room was spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located for transportation, with easy access to taxis and plenty of bus routes. It's also a starting point for shared bikes, making it easy to reach various attractions in the ancient city. The room itself was very spacious and well-equipped, featuring both a bathtub and a shower with a separate wet and dry area. Relaxing on the balcony with a view of West Lake was truly delightful. The hotel is perfect for a stroll around West Lake and is within walking distance of the Minnan-Taiwan Kinship Museum, making it an ideal choice for family travel.

Stayed here for two nights during Chinese New Year's Eve and the first day of the new year, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is super convenient, close to everything. Although we had our New Year's Eve dinner out, it was great to return to the hotel and catch the fireworks right outside our window – the atmosphere was amazing and truly felt like a celebration. Most importantly, the staff were all incredibly friendly, greeting us with 'Happy New Year' every time they saw us, which was so heartwarming. The room was clean, and breakfast was good too. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Quanzhou!
