There is nothing negative I can bring you here. Location: Fantastic with 2 minutes walk to marina Room: OMG Bigger than my house with a wonderful sea view Breakfast: Best I have had and I travel a lot Staff: All lovely, helpful and friendly Will definitely return to this lovely hotel if I come back to Vilamoura Thank you for a wonderful stay ♥️

8 of us have just returned for a 5 nights stay (3 rounds of golf). The hotel is a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The apartments are very spacious with comfy beds and an excellent shower! Yes the decor is a little old but it 100% did the job for us. Breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. If your looking for a hotel to stay for a group golf trip I’d 100% recommend Dom Pedro Portobelo

My friends and I (the caravan club) had our yearly meet here in March and I could not believe my luck when I saw this place. I didn’t know 7 star hotels existed. The place had a modern and elegant feel about it despite having a timeless complexion. Staff are excellent and the Restaurant on site (Rafaels) must be getting its Michelin star soon. Very friendly golfers staying here and the service is efficient. I thought we had booked the suite when I saw the kitchen in the room but was amazed it was just a standard room. The rooms have a classic feel about them and are very very comfortable. Breakfast is really good and the flambé’d bacon is a nice touch. The golf courses are awesome too and the tuna baguettes delivered by the buggy girl are superb. As you can imagine the caravan club swiftly wash this down with a premium South African lager Super Bok. It’s a short walk into town and you have some really good local Cuisines such as the Chinese and Pizza Hut.

All the staff were really great Views were great from the 9th floor. 1 bed apartment is good but kitchen needs updating, utensils, china ,cutlery, electrical goods all good. Great position, sea views and near the marina. Breakfasts were very good, lovely staff in attendance. We will certainlyvreturn. return.

Portobello is a nice hotel ,we visited just after Xmas and had New Year here .The room we had was a studio apartment with separate bedroom and kitchenette.The apartment was spacious and a lovely sea view (sixth floor ) ,new bathroom (soap,shower gel provided)with exceptionally good shower.The only thing that lets the accommodation down in our room is the tired woodwork and no washing up liquid.Maid service is excellent everyday (beds made ,towel change,bins emptied).Was a bit concerned with previous reviews on the breakfast but we thought it was awesome bacon ,eggs,cereals ,toast,yogurt,fruit juice and selection of pastries. All in all nice experience staff very helpful and friendly.

Just spent 4 nights here on a golf trip and was a little worried about the recent reviews, but had no reason to worry at all. Hotel is in perfect location for our needs and has good facilities, yes the rooms are a little dated but they are clean and in great condition. Food was decent and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Would I stay here for a family holiday... possibly not, but for a golf trip its hard to beat.

Hotel is in a fantastic location. Staff are excellent, helpful and very present to deal with. However hotel is very tired and rundown and could do with a lot of updating. Loose tiles on floors, marks all over walls, very old fashioned. Pool area good and very clean pool. Would be a great hotel with some modernising

great location but dated appliances and kitchen poorly configured and very small. problem with ants in bedrooms and bathrooms. it would be great if the pool was heated since the water was very cold even though we had sun

First staff all very helpful, positive over dates hotel very old asked from day one to extend check out told to ask day before leaving then told ask morning of leaving then told nope however for $170 you can have another room for 11 hours breakfast great if you want eggs & beans o and toast wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel
