Nice place but too crowded... view is beautiful, many pools, good restaurants but need to rebuild. Would be nice to have exclusive access to beach

They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.

The property location and grounds were beautiful, the facilities and rooms outdated and tired, the food for breakfast mediocre and the restaurant offerings boring mediocre quality and expensive.

Amazing retreat. The hotel was one of the most beautiful and quiet places I have been . The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place has a lot of outdoor activities, great views, and close encounter with wild animals throughout the property. I will definitely return to this location in the future.

The hotel in general was great, well kept, clean, with lots of amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help me with my questions. There are complimentary transportation services I didn’t expect. My room was upgraded without me asking for anything. It was an overall great experience

Because of the humidity the floor in our room on the first floor kept getting wet and slippery. So I would suggest not to book the first floor. The guest service was excellent and they switched us to a different room and even provided a fan as the ceiling fan was not working that well. Everyone that works there was very nice and helpful. The property is being well maintened. Every time we walked outside there were always people taking care of the greenery there or putting pavers in or wiping the glass on the balconies. The beach by it is only 10-15 mins walk and it’s well worth it. The calmest ocean waters I’ve ever been in. The resort is super pretty and we saw tons or animals on the property.

Poor service. Staff is not helpful. The hotel prefers direct booking over ******* - they gave our room away, put us in a lower-rate room with a promise to refund us the difference, and then didn't process any credits. We did not feel welcome in this hotel.
