This hotel was a fantastic find. Away from the busier Quepos, this hotel is quite close to the Manuel Antonio National Park. It is split between an "upper" area with reception, cabins/rooms, and a lower area with more rooms, a restaurant (pricey) and a beach front! The beach area was extremely well kept and there was a ton of seating at tables. The room was comfortable and beach/pool towels were provided at no extra cost. Breakfast was buffet style with several options including fruit and eggs. The staff were friendly and the lady at reception even reached out about tours on our behalf.

The beds are comfortable and clean, but unfortunately we didn't have a good night rest because of the trafic passing just in front of our room. The breakfast which is included in the price is very basic and nothing special. Specifically the coffee one would think should be good in Costa Rica where the coffee is produced and exported, but it was really not good coffee . Also I personally would have loved to be served at the table instead of a buffet.

Hotle was okay old construction but location was great, right next to the beach. Food was not ao great but there drinks were wonderful. Highly recommended crazy monkey colada.

We enjoyed 4 great nights here during our time in Manuel Antonio. We loved the sea view from our room and the private beach access. Great location on the beach and walking distance to the national park! The weather was rainy in the late afternoons, so it was very convenient to go to their on-site restaurant for happy hour drinks and dinner (which saved us getting drenched in the rain!!). The staff were all very friendly and helpful and they made us feel very welcome during our stay. We loved the wildlife we met on the property including the monkeys and iguanas. We were sad to leave and would very happily stay again.

We stayed several days in the off-season. We enjoyed sitting under the shade trees on the beach, listening to the waves. The staff was very attentive and kept our glasses full. The nearby pool was also very nice. The hotel has gated parking. It is a very short drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and all the great restaurants in the area.

From your room you look out onto a tropical lawn complete with agouti and monkeys. Go down the lawn, walk through a few trees, and you are on a Pacific Ocean beach!! Early mornings the beach is almost deserted. Sunsets are picture perfect. You can also choose to swim in the pool adjacent to the hotel restaurant. This property is only a short distance from Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the most visited parks in Costa Rica, where you can spot sloths and monkeys.

The grounds are lovely and the beach access can’t be beat. Nice outdoor restaurant with the best ceviche and the kindest staff. But our room? Not very clean. No vent fan in the tiny bathroom. A/C barely adequate. Our bed was great, though. We were fine for a few nights but probably won’t stay again.
