Very comfortable stay. Upgraded to a massive suite with terrace made the stay excellent. Good selection at breakfast in well appointed dining room with excellent service. Fresh fruit chopped as you might expect but this is first place we have had this on our cycle tour. Only downside was it was awkward to get bikes to bike garage due to number of stairs in all parts of the hotel. Tried the indoor pool actually quite dangerous no hand rails and the spa which was average but welcome after a day on bikes. Enjoyed our large private terrace. Reception were helpful.

A private chapel, a piano, fresh flowers, peace & quiet, gorgeous old-fashioned elegance, with discreet lounges, a roof terrace, a stupendous breakfast - we didn't want to leave, and will be back soon.

Beautiful hotel in the center of town. Our room was a suite with living area, like a little apartment. Very modern bathroom, excellent stay. Helpful staff gave us recommendations on what to see in the area. Restaurant in the hotel is excellent as well.

Charming hotel in a lovely village. It was a heavenly respite from the crowds of Florence. The hotel in located in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We didn't have a less than scrumptious meal. Our room was up some steps in the first building, overlooking Tuscany hills. So beautiful. The room was comfy, decorated with period furniture and well stocked. We enjoyed the wine machine. Our meals at the restaurant were good. The noise from below was loud but quoted by 10 PM

This is a delightful classic hotel with gracious hosts, spacious rooms, delicious options for eating and shopping, and midway between Florence and Sienna, making both a very approachable day trip. In the heart of Chianti, you can find wine and olive oil, and photogenic vineyards and villas everywhere.. best bargain you'll find, and take advantage of the lovely spa and local wine cellars

Wonderful location and beautiful hotel. Breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and it was wonderful. Staff is very professional and kind.

This property is gorgeous and has a lot of historical significance. But there are many areas they can improve like the bathroom. Toiletries are horrible and they did not provide conditioner or body lotion. The body wash was also the shampoo which is ridiculous for any woman.
They could explane a bit better how to arrive, drop off bags and then park on an offsite parking. That was a bit confusing, especially because there are many areas you cannot drive through.
You have to walk out of the property to go to the spa, so you have to make sure you’re fully dressed. You also have to walk out of the property to go into the pool in the adjacent hotel so again you have to make sure you’re dressed properly. I found that to be very inconvenient and uncomfortable to be honest.
The breakfast was great along with lively views. The terrace also had amazing views and they offer a wine dispenser.
