Had a lovely stay here out of high season. Stunning scenery with a peaceful electric boat trip along the lake and the ski lift up to the cafe and stunning views for the less able out of skiing season and lots for the more active. This family hotel was welcoming and comfortable with excellent food and beautiful wine; sourced locally as far as possible. My daughter had been advised that we did not need a car, this was true of Lake Bled, but a car would have been very useful here. However the hotel owners were very kind and helpful and helped with our transport issues. I often look back on our stay here and would like to return one day. Hand made chocolates were delicious too

The hotel is nice and cosy and the owners and staff very friendly. The room, where we stayed was quite big an comfortable, with the view of the mountains. The hotel has a small wellnes with sauna, jacuzzy and rest area, which we used. The dinner was very good, there was also vegeterian option. Breakfast was also very nice with lots of options to choose from.

If you want the most amazing meal (and chocolates) then this is the place. We had the best pork dinner served with a wonderful Pinot noir and my wife had a delicious turkey dish. We both agreed it was the best meal we had had for some years. Must visit

Stayed with a group of friends for a few nights. The hotel is nicely placed, a short walk from the lake and has free parking out front. The hotel is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff, food and drinks were all excellent. The weather wasn’t the best during our stay and the owners went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Hope to return soon.

To be honest, my first choice was to book another hotel, Hotel Bohinj, because of their pictures. but that was full. Hotel Art Kristal, looked like the best second option. But afterwards, this was THE BEST option. This is a family hotel. and you can feel the love of the owners to make you feel so welcome and at home. Their restaurant was truly wonderful. And their wines, was lovely. They even served Orange naturel wine. It was lovely.! Make sure you order the 5 course tasting menu. It’s truly delicious. Living in Amsterdam where there is an abundance of good food and wine, even Orange natural wine is hard to find in restaurants. I never expected to find it here. But this hotel has surprised us with their quality and especially their wonderful and kind hospitality. I would recommend this hotel as really worth your stay and money.

We stayed 3 nights. Location - 10 / 15 minute walk down 1 road to the Lake. Free car parking at the hotel helpful. The small number of bars / restaurants that there are in this area are on the way or close to the Lake. Room - absolutely fine. Modern and clean. No air conditioning in the room which is unusual these days - not a problem for we just slept with the windows open in this quiet location. Breakfast - average, typical European spread and standard. Fine but nothing to write home about. Price - competitive for the area.

Very nice hotel after walking in the Triglav mountains. Clean and spacious room, very comfortable beds. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We had a buffet style diner, which included fish, meat chips and salad. Very comfortable bar area pre dinner and as we had an early checkout the hotel did us a packed breakfast.

One of our best hotels in Slovenia. Very kind and helpful staff. Fantastic food and rooms. Everything is great and peaceful. Breakfast is out of this world. I would like to recommend this to anyone. It is great for families and those who like to have hiking and walk around the hills.
