What an experience in this unique place! I wanted to share my experience in this unique place because we were literally amazed from start to finish. I have been to a lot of restaurants in my life and believe me, this one has something special. Firstly the decoration, the atmosphere, and the beauty of the place takes you straight back to the time of the Clergy and the nobility. It's quite confusing! Then we were greeted by Alexandre who proclaimed himself to be our "hunter". He clearly welcomed us by explaining the whole history of the Abbey, in terms of immersion and customer experience we were well served! A true Palace service, nothing is left to chance! Julien who assisted him was very caring and really attentive. A big thank you to him too. Between the Pithivier and the Capraccio de St-Jacques then the morel roast chicken and the turbot with wild mushrooms accompanied by a sublime Gevrey Chambertin, it was at that moment that I knew I was going to come back. At the end of the meal, Augustin took us on a final journey, showing us the Bars as well as the large breakfast and Brunch room. Congratulations to the entire catering team. I think it was flawless. We will come back for a new journey through time. But I won't forget to bring a Cohiba.. :)

The place steeped in history subtly renovated so that it keeps its soul, particular attention to details, tapestries, flowers, welcome products, snacks, chic, present and attentive staff, the comfort of the beds, the lounges, the buffets rich and endless, the majestic monks' room which transports you to Hogwarts, the gaming room and the cinema which entertain young and old, the immense green park... the list of reasons which will make us come back is endless and for a price which definitely worth the value, I hope they don't increase their price too much because the demand is likely to be very high! Congratulations to the people who created this sublime establishment!

And yes, here we are this evening... How I loved this place. Dear Valentine's Day evening that we once spent every year at Vaux de Cernay... For 200 euros we were given a royal welcome and we had a dream evening. Since then, the price: meals + admission fees has been multiplied by 2. Cernay, it's over..., like in the song Capri. It's not for us anymore. . After 4 months of opening, how sad to read all this here. And the domain's responses to these opinions are, imperturbable, without emotion, without compassion, and all written identically. Yes I want to believe that the spirit of the monks will work a miracle and that everything will work out. 3 stars to believe it.

We came several times before the work but not since, magnificent abbey, walk in the park, excellent catering, perfect breakfast which we were able to have most of the time on the terrace, we will return with great pleasure, (the date noted does not correspond to our last stay since it was necessary to give a date)

We stayed as a family, 4 couples (one with children), during a weekend for a special birthday. The abbey is absolutely magnificent. Its very recent renovation allows you to benefit from the dining rooms and remarkable lounges, a mixture of refinement and comfort, with particularly careful decoration respectful of the place. These spaces exude attention to detail and the desire to provide a unique experience to customers. The area is vast, which allows everyone to benefit from the tranquility of the place. Children are placed at the center of attention with an adorable children's club, an arcade games room, a cinema, and a perfect snack. The rooms are warm and very comfortable. The heated outdoor swimming pool allows you to enjoy it, even in snowy weather. Which makes the experience unique. All the ingredients come together to make this place an ideal place for family rejuvenation. But, our experience is ultimately mixed, because our reservation for THE birthday lunch was lost (despite a reservation made by telephone with the rooms, 3 weeks before arrival, then confirmed when the teams call you before your arrival). The on-site staff of course apologized, but were unable to find us a table at the very popular Sunday brunch, explaining to us rather clumsily that the other customers had reservations... We ended up enjoying this excellent brunch another day. The hotel management gave us welcome attention. But, we must admit that this oversight, very inopportune, ultimately leaves us with a bitter taste. The employees are, like our experience, professionals of uneven quality, some - the majority - particularly attentive, smiling, and friendly, as one would expect from this type of establishment, and others quite cold. or little familiar with how it works, because they have just arrived. There also emerges a palpable heterogeneity in customer treatment, which, without denying it, should not be so noticeable. At the time of check-in, we were also missing information on the history of the place, although it was rich. Our curiosity was nevertheless satisfied by asking the servers, or employees in the room. In summary, there is not much missing from this very high quality establishment, for the "customer experience" to be perfect in every way, but, at this stage, from our point of view, there is still a long way to go.
