Courtyard Sacramento Rancho Cordova

First of all when I made the reservation it said that the beds were queen beds and they were not. I think they were full beds. Then I was charged for parking, this is the first time I’ve had to pay for parking in a hotel. And last, I think the hotel needs some renovation, the carpets in the hallways look old. The lobby is very nice but the rest needs help.

Comfortable room, relatively quiet for being adjacent to the highway, also great restaurants near by, watch for hidden fees, $15 for self parking, and $5 for the "complimentary" in room bottled water. Parking lot has no lighting, but they did have generator run high intensity lighting in the parking lot for safety. Friendly staff, and 24 hour starbucks coffee available for a price. In room coffee is average.

Glad we chose this place. We have to be in Sacramento for a family relative funeral, we had to drive 10miles farther from the venue but worth it. The reception desk and bar are congenial and very helpful

I was nervous that a hotel near the highway would be noisy but it was surprisingly quiet. We asked about this and were told it wasn’t an issue, which proved true, but I think an inside room facing the pool may have been slightly better. Anyways no issue there. The hotel lobby area was fine, the hallways were a little tired but not bad. The room tho was very nice, new carpet and finishes with comfy beds and new everything. The overall experience didn’t get 5 stars but the room does. My two complaints were an unexpected $15 per night parking charge. Up the rate or make this known pre-booking. Please don’t surprise me with this on arrival. Also, very strangely, our free breakfast was for 1, not all 3 of us. The ladies at the restaurant had no explanation for this except that maybe it had to do with the rate we booked. When the room was booked for 3 people and includes free breakfast it seems logical we wouldn’t have to decide who eats and who goes hungry until we make other arrangements. The lonely breakfast sandwich was quite good, but a bit pricey as you might expect from a hotel offering. I suppose I would have paid for my wife and daughter to have something from there as well but there are better more affordable options nearby. So we shared (you thought I would cruelly just eat in front of them didn’t you lol) and got something elsewhere. So on that front breakfast gets 2 stars only because the 1/3 of it we got was tasty.

$15 to park? It’s just a way to milk an extra $15 out of you. It’s not downtown and close to 100% of their rooms are drive in customers. You can do better. Very disappointed. In fact, I’m going to give you a one star. Hopefully, that will get you to change your policy. If one customer sees this and books elsewhere, you’ll have to sell another twenty stays to make up for a single night.

Marginal performanceforRamchiCordova CourtyardMari The bathroom shower fixture were marginal. It was impossible to regulate hot and cold water in the shower. The hand held spray holder could not be set. Service For The Room was only every 4 days. Not Good.
