Not What It Seems — Be Cautious Booking Here This hotel is now called Rancho Cordova Inn, and it is no longer affiliated with any major brand, even though older reviews and photos on TripAdvisor suggest otherwise. It looks like those reviews reflect a time when the property was under different management or ownership. Here’s my experience: No free breakfast — just coffee, which I personally chose not to drink. Only local TV channels — no cable. The environment doesn’t feel like a typical hotel; there appear to be long-term residents. There was no hair dryer, no headboard, and the walls are bare. I found leftover trash between the bed from a previous guest. The toilet on the third floor was leaking into the wall — clearly not a new issue. The walls are thin — I could hear both neighbors and traffic. Heating didn’t work; the AC unit was weak. The $200 deposit was concerning — mine changed from “pending” to a charge, and I’m still waiting for a refund days later. This experience felt misleading from start to finish. I urge other travelers to check recent reviews only, and be cautious — this hotel no longer reflects the standards you'd expect from a branded property
