Hyatt Place Rancho Cordova

We were pretty disappointed with our stay at this property. We booked specifically because it was listed as newly renovated in 2024, but the overall experience did not reflect that at all. While the front desk staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, the rest of the property felt neglected. The lobby doors were boarded up, the hallways were shabby and very dirty, and one of the elevators was completely out of service. The only elevator that was operating was also malfunctioning and extremely slow, to the point that we ended up using the stairs despite being on the sixth floor. Although the rooms had clearly been renovated, they were still underwhelming. The layout was also poorly thought out, as the vanity faces the bed, meaning my partner was hit with bright lights directly in his face each morning while I was getting ready. Overall, the glowing reviews and photos we saw online did not match our experience at all.

Hotel is very good . Room is big. There are varieties of foods for breakfast and food tastes good. Parking is $14 per day. Deposit is $50 per day. Rancho Cordova is close to Sacramento where is not much to see. I have stayed for three days and has no complaints.

Room 401 needs some maintenance. The bathroom tile has loose grout that should be repaired, and the room description lists a microwave, but there isn’t one in the room.

Checkin was a little hectic and while the rooms are updated, the showers could use some upgrades.

Very convenient location. Staff helpful and attentive.
