We had a great stay at Tree House Chalets. Beautiful atmosphere enjoyed the bird nest and trekking trail in the premises. Also really appreciate the naturalists help on learning how to use telescope. They offer many activities as well. Waterfall watching, village tours , bakers bend etc. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Keep up the good work. Planning to visit again.

loved the place from the word go ! just 3.5hrs from Colombo , kudos to the owner for thinking of a such a unique concept , luckily we didn’t read the reviews (local) before we went , but it was spectacular all around with so much of well thought of endogenous executions plus Babara Kanda devils star case tour , food was exceptional and well presented , we both took a special liking for the dinner (both options on ala cart) , only regret was not staying for two days as it would’ve been perfect , we plan to comeback , also the management was kind enough to extend us for a late check out , its well-staffed with a manager , naturist , Chef & assistant and housekeeping, only suggestion being the month of august and as a couple who runs a similar listing in Kandy (which much empathy for your efforts) pls fix the ACs ( as you have got the units already in to the property and awaiting installation ) , that would boost up the comfort levels all throughout the year , we would definitely visit again , keep it up !:)

I booked this hotel expecting a luxury eco escape, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The rooms have no A/C or proper ventilation, making nights extremely hot and uncomfortable. Perhaps it’s only manageable during cooler months. The food was another letdown — while the presentation looked nice, the taste was terrible. There’s nothing particularly exciting or unique about the property to justify the high price, and it’s definitely not kid-friendly. Overall, this place is not worth the money. Do your research carefully before booking.

The experience is awful. Even though they claimed it to be a chalet, the rooms (which are not sound proof) are poorly constructed on one another. Me and my husband had a really disturbing time with a family room on top of us. The least we couldn’t even have a peaceful sleep . Even though we informed, they didn't take necessary actions. Doesn’t worth the price. Would not recommend this to anyone!

We stayed at the Tree House Chalet in Belihuloya for our second honeymoon, looking forward to a unique and memorable experience. Overall, the food was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, which made us feel welcome. However, despite opting for the more expensive chalet to enhance our experience, there were several issues that unfortunately detracted from our stay. Firstly, the chalet didn’t have air conditioning, which made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably, especially in the warm weather. Additionally, we had expected a tantra bed as advertised, but this was not available in the chalet. We also faced issues with the hot water system, which didn’t work properly, so we couldn’t use the tub as we had planned. One of the most concerning problems was with the door key – it couldn’t be removed from the outside of the door, which left my wife feeling uneasy and worried about security. Considering the price we paid for this experience, we didn’t feel it was worth it given the lack of amenities and some discomforts. I believe there’s room for improvement, especially for those paying a premium for a “better” experience.

Our stay at Tree house chalet was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, specially the naturalist was very informative and knowledgable. The breakfast picnic and the nature walk were the highlights of our stay. The food was amazing too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and a eco-friendly stay.
