This hotel is in a stunning location with beautiful lake views, however the room faced the busy main road. The windows are triple glazed and the room was quiet as long as the windows stayed closed with no fresh air coming inside! Another downside was that the room could only be reached by going a complicated way up in a lift and then up and down some stairs. Nevertheless the room was large with comfortable twin beds that were tied together with tape, a couch, desk and fabulous large modern bathroom with a huge vanity, magnifying mirror and walk-in shower. However the shower floor is plastic and can be dangerously slippery. A non-slip mat should be provided for guests. A safe, shoe-horn and sewing kit were provided but no kettle or coffee-making facilities and no cakes of soap or shower cap. Liquid soaps were provided but they were hard to differentiate as the labels were sideways in a small pale font that was difficult to read without glasses. The breakfast was one of the best ever in a German hotel with freshly cooked hot food being regularly topped up by the kitchen and fresh honey comb straight from the bee-hive. Service was excellent some days and other times no-one was at the reception desk.

Wunderschönes Hotel am See. Wir hatten im Erdgeschoss ein Superiorzimmr mit Seeblick. Der Ausblick auf den Küchensee ist unbezahlbar. Von der kleinen Terrasse hat man einen direkten Zugang auf den Steg und ins Wasser. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad ließ auch keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nicht alles Gold, was glänzt... War heute Mittag im Seehof Restaurant. Ich hatte, nach dem Durchlesen der Rezessionen, hohe Erwartungen. Diese wurde sehr enttäuscht. Habe das 4 Gänge Menü gewählt. Zuerst Lachs und Seeteufel Carpaccio. Die Scheiben vom Lachs waren vielleicht gerade mal 1/2 mm dünn , der Seeteufel hatte bestimmt nur 3 gramm. Zwei kleine Kugeln Avocado Creme. Eisgekühlt, zu kalt. Für den Preis irre wenig. Danach Vittello Tonnato 10 minischeiben Kalb , dazu eine winzige Spur von Thunfischcreme, drei Blatt Salat obendrauf. Knapp 19 Euro??? Zu wenig zu teuer. Dann Rindersteak, 90 Gramm Ein salzigen Etwas gratuliert darunter. Das Fleisch nicht zart, nicht fein, etwas bitter. Für 32 Euro ??? Frech. Danach Creme Brulée. Das einzige was schmeckte. Aber auch zu teuer. Extrem schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. 74 Euro. Nicht gerechtfertigt. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Nicht mehr der Seehof von Ewald F., Oskar F. und Bernd K. aber trotzdem eine kleine Oase in Deutschlands Gastro-Wüste, die immer größer wird. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, gerade auch dank der sehr freundlichen und bemühten Frau Scharsitzke. Das Essen war ok, der Preis angemessen. Das Ambiente hätte etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient.

Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat einen tollen Humor. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, was mir immer am wichtigsten ist. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön ausgestattet. Das Frühstück, sowie das Abendessen fand ich super. Die Fliegengitter am Fenster sind Gold wert gegen Stechmücken, denn so hat man seine Ruhe. Ich war rundum zufrieden, lustig fand ich nur den Turmventilator, eine fix eingebaute Klimaanlage wäre ästhetisch besser gewesen in dem schicken Zimmer. Aber gut, das kommt dann in Zukunft vielleicht noch.

Wir waren schon oft hier und haben immer gern das allgemein hohe Niveau der Qualität (inkl. der entsprechenden Preise) zu würdigen gewusst und auch gern bezahlt. Wenn allerdings ein lautstarkes iPad mit Fußballübertragung wichtiger ist als der das Wohl der übrigen Gäste, hat das Niveau doch merklich gelitten. Die Bitte an die ältere Bedienung, dies zu unterbinden, wurde dann auch keines Blickes oder einer Antwort gewürdigt, sondern vielmehr den entsprechenden Gästen auch noch mitgeteilt, wer sich denn hier beschwert hat. Wer ist hier der Störenfried? Der, der die Störung ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste verursacht, oder der, der dies montiert? Unglaublich für ein Haus dieser Preisklasse und leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine kleine Firmenjubiläumsfeier in November 2022 Planung und Vorbereitung mit der Direktionsassistentin (Frau Megies) absolut super! Rezeption ausgesprochen freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend - TOP Zimmer und Ambiente TOP Abendessen/Menü/Service einen besonderen Dank an Frau Heyer und die Küche! das hatte Sterne-Niveau absolut unübertrefflich Frühstück incl. Service absolut super! Fazit: Das beste Firmenjubiläum ever! Herzlichen Dank
