Ravello Art Hotel Marmorata

The room was absolutely non human to sleep in due to a strong smell of humidity. We asked from the reception to come and check but they “waved” us away with a silly sentence. Bummer.

Right on the water, this hotel is a hidden gem. Located close to Amalfi and other tourist towns. Shuttle to ferry makes it easy to get around.

The ocean front property is beautiful in stature from the outside and the staff at front desk are quite attentive. The rooms are small and average. There are limited amenities. My room faced a noisy courtyard. The outdoor pool and access to the Mediterranean is lovely. The complimentary Buffet breakfast is well done. The restaurant on the property is nice, but over priced and service staff could be friendlier. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle a few times a day to either Minori or a Amalfi ports. Otherwise, they’re charge to pick you up, even if it’s only a mile or so is very expensive. I’ve never been in a hotel, where I checked in as a solo traveler, and they had a twin bed with one pillow, and one towel for the bathroom. I found that very unusual, and not in line with a supposed the four-star hotel. While the location is pretty, there are a lot of amazing properties closer to town that you may want to consider to avoid the high cost of transportation. I suspect they may be more updated and may have more amenities as well. Hopefully, they will consider my comments in this review. The hotel certainly has potential if it would become a little bit more customer, focused, and attentive to the needs of travelers and the limited transportation in this area of the Amalfi coast. More attention needs to be given to your room, amenities and more regular shuttle services. They may want to consider additional programming to offer more entertainment.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dining at the restaurant. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus twice a day to/from Amalfi. Overall great service.

Well located, extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms could use updating, but very well kept. Overall the staff and service was great with the exception of one person who was rude upon calling for a shuttle when we missed the scheduled one, she did attempt to rectify prior to completing the call. Ivan from the bar and Guiese from the front deck were especially wonderful. Overall would stay here again, but room updates would be appreciated

I have been here three times. Recently the rooms were updated and they are beautiful. The location is great and the staff is fabulous.

While some staff were nice, several of them were unbelievably rude and just horrible. Our room was infested with bugs when we arrived because evidently a window was broken and wouldn’t close. We arrived late it was the first night of our honeymoon and when we called them they came and vacuumed and had a bunch of guys come to fix the window although it was super late at night and refused to move us to another room or compensate at all. They were incredibly rude and just expected us to be ok with the bugs. They totally ruined the first night of our honeymoon and they couldn’t have been more horrible about it

This property was great. They provided transfers when I asked. At a reasonable cost. Awesome place for swimming if you want to have access to a beach that is not busy and not use a beach club in the city.
