Travelodge Reading Whitley

Thanks to Nasir, who was very helpful in changing my booking at last minute, and arranging a room on the ground floor. Very much appreciated!

Big thank you to Caren and Shoaib foe hosting our stay. Amenities was clean and functional on the bus route. Pub across the hotel serve meals at budget friendly prices.

Ideal location for us, close to music festival we attended, just need something cheap and cheerful Checkin very quick, with free parking. Room: New design rooms so much better than the old dated Travelodge rooms. Only downside no AC which made the room very hot but to credit them a fan was already on in the room when we arrived. Bed hard, some will love some will hate. Bathroom: shower over bath and floor didn’t get soaking wet 😃 Vending machine in reception, other than that no food or drink options but many places near by

I had a really pleasant stay at Travelodge Reading Whitley. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly, especially Karen. welcoming, and happy to help with any questions. The hotel is in a convenient location with free parking and easy access to Reading town centre. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and well maintained. The housekeeper Donna who was on duty on our day of departure was excellent. Karen on reception was helpful and welcoming

From the time I arrived to the time I left I felt really comfortable which allowed me to enjoy my stay. There were 2 staff members in particular that enabled me to feel welcome, Donna and Karen I believe. They were both welcoming, polite and provided a sense of comfort. I would say that this was the most welcomed I have felt in a hotel in a long time. I was staying in the hotel so I could be close to family due to a funeral i was attending and their calming nature made a stressful situation, less stressful. Donna and Karen, keep up the good work and thank you for being so kind/friendly and welcoming.

I had a wonderful stay at the Travelodge Reading Whitley. My room was always spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, making it the perfect place to rest. Having stayed at another Travelodge previously, I can honestly say that Reading Whitley is in a completely different league. The difference in the atmosphere, cleanliness and, above all, the customer service is remarkable. What really made my stay special was the incredible team. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Karen, Anthony, Shoaib, Donna and every other member of staff. From the moment I arrived, you all treated me with genuine kindness, warmth and professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and you always made me feel welcome. During a difficult period in my life, your compassion and willingness to help meant far more than you probably realise. The team at Reading Whitley are a real credit to Travelodge and set the standard for what great hospitality should look like. I only wish every Travelodge offered the same level of care and service. Thank you all for making such a positive difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend Travelodge Reading Whitley to anyone visiting the area.
