We've just come back from beautiful Albi and are very pleased we chose the Hotel Laperouse for our stay. The young family that run the hotel were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and the hotel was delight. The location was very convenient only 10 minutes from the train station and on the edge of the old town. We were in a superior double which was very quiet, comfortable, spacious and clean with a lovely view down to the secluded garden and swimming pool area. There was a fan in the room but no air conditioning and I suspect it is for little details like this that the property is only rated 2 stars.

We found this in the Rick Steves book. We ended up looking at 3 rooms and found the street side room to be the largest with a great view of the entrance to old town. Everything is walking distance, parking is on the street right below the room and costs about 8 euro a day. You can park a 10 minute walk away for free. The room was quiet with 2 sets of windows and a set of shutters. The wi-fi was fast and right in the room. The pool and garden area was beautiful and the owners a delight. A grocery store, cafe and old town just across the street.

Did not heed hotel's advice, and had a hard time trying to reach the hotel by car GPS. Nearly all access roads closed and converted into a pedestrian mall. Finally have to park, and on foot found it in no time. Warmly received. Room in adjacent building is spacious and a beautiful balcony looking into the pool. Owner is very helpful and informative. Breakfast, served in a bright spacious room, is good.

The hotel is on a main road close the to city centre, shops, restaurants and other delights of Albi. We were able to leave our motorcycle on the pavement outside and there were other parking options for the city clearly specified on our booking. There was a nice heated pool in the garden. We felt that 9e for a continental breakfast was steep so didn't take that option. The room was ok but outside in the halls area it was pretty scruffy, badly chipped doors etc that will need to be sorted out (we have stayed in other 2* places on our trips which are far better presented).

Superbe hôtel, magnifiquement rénové. Un emplacement toujours idéal (en 5 minutes à pied maximum vous êtes partout : devant la Cathédrale Ste Cécile ou place du Vigan), une grande piscine (avec transats en nombre) dont la présence distingue à elle seule cet hôtel des autres. Pour avoir connu l'hôtel avant sa rénovation complète, on ne peut être qu'impressionné par la montée en gamme (l'ancien hôtel avait 2 étoiles, le nouveau en a 4, ce qui est là encore une rareté à Albi). Les chambres sont au niveau d'un 4 étoiles (literie, décoration, équipement, salle de bain, machine à café et thé, réfrigérateur..), le service est parfait. Le meuble qui sert de comptoir à la réception est très original, comme les chants d' oiseaux dans l'ascenseur ! Bref, en ce qui me concerne, je ne cherche plus d'autre hôtel quand je viens à Albi

abbiamo apprezzato il poter scegliere tra diverse tipologie di stanze / prezzi e quindi di orientarci verso la stanza economica, avendo la possibilità del benefit di lusso dell'hotel: la splendida piscina. Sole, acqua pulita, oasi di giardino. Stanza semplice e pulita, arredi un po' datati. Tv e WIFI ottimo. Posizione perfetta per visitare Albi. L'hotel dispone di un parcheggio convenzionato coperto oppure potete parcheggiare nei posti non a pagamento a 5 / 10 minuti a piedi.

L'accueil fait par les gérants est formidable. Ils sont sincèrement très heureux de vous accueillir. Ils donnent aussi de précieux conseils sur les bonnes tables à ne pas rater, quoi voir et comment s'orienter dans la ville grâce à un plan qui vous est donné dès votre arrivée. J'ai pas aimé la baguette précuite au petit-déjeuner. La propreté de l'établissement, la SUPER situation dans la ville, la piscine qui rafraichit bien les jambes après une journée de visite. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Nous avons passé une nuit au sein de cet hôtel. L'accueil a été excellent et bienveillant. Déjà, avant notre arrivée, nous avons reçu un sms de Quentin, le gérant, nous invitant à l'appeler pour être guidés dans la ville. Ensuite, lorsque nous avons pris possession de la chambre, ce dernier nous a été de très bon conseil pour nous déplacer et nous donner les bonnes informations touristiques (carte de la ville à la clé). La chambre est simple et propre, avec vue sur la cathédrale. Enfin, cet hôtel est très bien situé, à 3 minutes de la Cathédrale, proche de parkings et des commerces.
