The location is great, the service is good, the food is OK. On a comfortable summer’s day it is nice to sit by the Rhein watching boats go by enjoying a good beer and a meal. The Rhein Inn offers all of that. The food itself is OK but if you are a vegetarian the menu is quite limited. The Jager Schnitzel I ordered was a bit overdone and the number of pieces of mushrooms in the sauce I could count on one hand (see photo). The spaghetti alio e olio tasted more like olio e parmesan.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel mit Restaurant und direktem Blick auf den Rhein. Ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Die Fähre zur anderen Rheinseite liegt direkt vor der Tür. Die Eigentümer sind immer sehr freundlich und versuchen auch kleine Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Wij zijn een paar dagen in deze mooie omgeving geweest (aan de Rijn) en hebben twee nachten in dit hotel geslapen. Het hotel ligt aan de Rijn bij het veerpont naar Linz. Wij bezochten het hotel in een rustige periode. Onze kamersleutel hing in een kluisje naast de ingangsdeur. De kamer lag op de t****e verdieping. Let op als je moeilijk ter been bent, er is geen lift. De comfortkamer was ruim en modern ingericht. Het hotel is bezig de kamers te renoveren. Het bed heeft een prima matras. Wij hebben er goed geslapen. Je hoort wel het veer goed en dat gaat continu door tussen 05.15 uur en 24.00 uur. Nu wonen wij midden in de stad dus wij zijn wel wat geluidsoverlast gewend. Ons stoorde het niet. De douche is prima en alles is heel schoon. Het ontbijt is echt klasse! Ondanks dat er weinig gasten waren, was dat niet te merken aan de uitgebreide keuzemogelijkheden aan het ontbijtbuffet. Kortom, fijn hotel met een prachtig uitzicht op Linz am Rhein (zie foto). Een aanrader!

Tolles Essen und netter Service. Wir waren 3 Tage hintereinander dort essen.Alle Peisen super frisch und es wurden sogar Sonderwünsche erfüllt.Der Salat knackig und frisch.Die Preise angemessen und nicht zu teuer. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist ein Traum Wir kommen wieder.
