The hotel is really simple, but fortunately we only stayed one night. However, the African American girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic and took us to the room.

On a business trip to Rennes, I chose Appart’City for its proximity to the establishment where I was going. Arrival was easy, the reception is open until midnight on Sundays. The staff is welcoming, with a smile, and it’s pleasant. The room is generally clean, with a few flaws: poorly painted, lack of electrical outlets, curtains with flapping rails, and not very clean windows. I recommend using the parking lot, it’s very difficult to park nearby. The spaces are narrow despite everything… The big downside is the lack of civility of the people (doors slamming constantly, even after 11 p.m. and before 7 a.m.), and the work that was taking place in the establishment on the elevator that started early in the morning (at 8 a.m. it’s already banging…)

They charged us for cleaning even though we had asked for something to do it ourselves (with products). They refused and said it wasn't worth it! We knew our room was dirty when we stayed and we wanted to fix our mistakes. But if they told us no for the products and that it's up to them to clean, why charge us for the service in addition to the price of the room! Moreover, when someone from our group came to give us the keys, they insisted on not meeting up in the room with friends and not drinking alcohol. I can understand this approach, but in this case, don't post a sign or invite your customers to receive their friends in their room and to be "free, very free even" in their room as indicated on their prospectus. And without any abuse on my part, no one has the right to say what we should or should not consume in our room (except illegal products of course) but alcohol is legal in France and it is no one's business if we consume it in our room which is a private space! Avoid for groups of young friends.

We booked two nights for four people over a month ago through ***********. Upon arrival (late afternoon), we discovered that the envelope containing our key was missing from the safe deposit box. We called to inquire, and were told that the room had been cancelled by *********** because the credit card wasn't working. The credit card was working, so much so that we immediately looked for and paid for another property, paying double what we had originally planned when booking here. No warning message from ***********. No help in finding another solution at the last minute. Inappropriate behavior!
