Old Charm Reykjavik Apartments

They were really kind and noticed that we were travelling with a toddler and gave us a place that better suited our needs than the one I had originally booked and the kitchen was very well appointed, beds were comfortable, bathroom had what we needed. Parking was a little narrow to get in but the parking area itself was ample. Given we came in at an off-peak time they also kindly let us check in earlier because they were able to accommodate this request. Minor points- perhaps it was also my fault but I think we would have benefited from a pictorial description of which door to open (we had trouble finding our key box despite reading the written instructions a few times). It is a well-located apartment but also next to a main street- so expect traffic noises (which I found easy to sleep to), but also we had random people screaming at the middle of the night on a weeknight. This however is outside of the hosts' control! We would stay here again.

Our apartment was great and was in the perfect location to bus stops, restaurants, stores, and just walking around Reykjavik. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable and it had a kitchen with everything we needed for eating in. Someone came in twice throughout the week to take out trash and leave fresh towels which was much appreciated. Would defiantly stay here again!

The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy. It was centrally located so made it easy getting about. If you are going any tours there are bus stops which are a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We arrived earlier than planned and the owners kindly allowed us to check in a few hours earlier which was great as it was so cold! The only downside is if you are sleeping in the front room you are right next to a main road so it can be busy, make sure you take ear plugs with you. Also, we were on the ground floor so heard quite a bit of noise from upstairs -again ear plugs helped with this.

This apartment was great for our family of 6. The location is perfect - just a block off of the main pedestrian street and close to lots of restaurants, shops and sights. The parking spot in back was a bonus! The apartment was clean and the rooms were large with comfortable beds. There is no sitting area other than around the kitchen table, but we knew that going in so not an issue for us. The apartment is old, but has been nicely updated. Because it's so old, it was a bit drafty in places. The second bathroom is quite small, but functional. The only complaint I have is that the front door lock is not very secure. We enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful and convenient, this apartment is in the heart of Reykjavik - a short walk from all the sites. 3 large bedrooms and two full baths / a rarity in Iceland! Fully equipped kitchen and a banquet table dining space make it perfect for a family or group. Parking is on site but if you are bringing a bigger vehicle, bring patience as well as the driveway and parking spots can be tight if the houses are full. We got super lucky and saw the aurora borealis right above the house!

The apartment exceeded all my expectations! From the stylish decor to the impeccable cleanliness, every detail was carefully thought out. The location was perfect, easy access to local attractions. I truly felt at home during my stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a memorable getaway

We stayed here at the start and end of our Iceland visit. The location is perfect for the centre of Reykjavik with easy access to all the sights in the city. The rooms are large and there was more than enough space for our party of 7. We all had the best sleep in the most comfortable beds ever! The only downside was the bathroom, while it was large and stocked with essentials (as was the kitchen) there is only one which meant some patience. Overall a great place to stay!

We’re just back from four nights in the green apartment with balcony and I’ll never be that warm again. The flat is really central and you’re minutes from the harbour, restaurants and shops. Some reviews mention the lack of pillows and I’d agree with that but otherwise it is absolutely perfect. Tge stairs are steep but that adds to the charm. The flat is lovely and warm and I’m already planning our return trip.

So lucky to have found this apartment . Very spacious for group of 6 . Location is perfect ! It's very near to supermarket Bonus , bars and bus stop pick up for tours . We requested extra pillows and was granted right away . Very quick to respond and accomodating . Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much . We had lovely time staying at this apartment.
