We will try to write a review, as objective as possible. Positive aspects of the hotel: They layout of the hotel as a small Greek village is very nice. The rooms are spread out and it doesn’t feel like one of those big hotels with big buildings. It lays right on the beach which is nice and clear. The swimming pools are quite big, but I can understand that some people feel like they can’t use them as they are in front of the rooms with direct pool access, so you might feel like they are only for them which is not the case. The staff was usually quite friendly, especially at the beach bar which is the one we used the most. Pizzas served for lunch at the pool restaurant were very good. The a la carte restaurants are quite nice, if you manage to book them on the online app that they provide (the process is quite cumbersome). Now, onto the more negative ones: The check in process was a bit strange. You have to fill in an online form before checking in at the counter even if you have all of the paperwork with you. We had to pay the taxes right away and cash only. Usually they appear on the bill at the end of the stay…so if you don’t carry cash with you it could be an issue. Then we were negatively surprised when we were told that to use the safe in the room, we’d have to pay 40 euros. We have never seen this in any other hotel…the safe was always free!! Onto the room now: we had booked a swim up family room with direct pool access. We had been told it would be a renovated room, of course it wasn’t. The room looked like it came out of the 80s’….The “room” for the children are maybe 6 square meters, with no windows (other than a window on the hallway). The AC was leaking onto our daughter’s bed…we gave the information to reception, someone came to check only after a couple of days…looked at it and did nothing…. The beds were hard as rocks, we had to ask for toppers to make them a little more comfortable. And of course the piece of wood underneath was completely rotten due to the leak. The main bedroom was much bigger but also in poor condition. Noisy AC, plugs that were hanging out of the wall. There also, we had notified reception…we saw someone came to check…and again…did nothing about it. The bathroom was just a joke…the shower was so small you could barely turn around in it, the tiles were broken on the floor, the mirrors were also damaged, there was no ventilation at all in the bathroom. It didn’t feel clean at all. The access to the pool was not as shown on the pictures, the room was under ground level and you had to use a stairs to go to the terrace. It wasn’t a big problem for us but it could be for older people or people with small children. The renovate rooms are only a few, they can only accommodate 3 people max. And the renovated pool area with a pool bar is reserved for adult only. That’s all you see from the renovated parts. Lastly, there was regularly a strong smell of sewers in the hallway or even in the room, this was very unpl

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel - room was lovely, bathroom could do with a refurb but was clean. Just tile cracks etc but nothing major. The resort as a whole is beautiful, we only had a standard room, all other rooms were booked but there are the lower rooms with swim up pools, sunloungers & private jacuzzi. I noticed the top floor rooms also had them too. Was happy with our standard room. Air con in all rooms too! Safes are extra 30 euro but we didn’t use it. Food was good - lots of variety and found something to eat everyday in the main buffet, also has a greek & Asian restaurant but you have to reserve table. All included in the all inclusive still though. Italian/pool restaurant also available near the beach. Beach is lovely - plenty of sun beds. Sea is warm and easy to get into. Boat to Lindos off the beach every day for 15euro per person inc return. Worth a visit. Water sports available - can hire out private boat etc. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Would definitely return. Only down side is that outside of the hotel there is not much - there is a bus stop that can take you anywhere basically and cheap. Bus fare to Lindos is 1.80euro each. Gym is across the road - however very limited equipment and doesn’t open till 10am so never used it. Not any weight equipment, just a couple of 8/10kg dumbbells.

Had a great 10 days at Costa Lindia with my wife and 14 year old son. Hotel is well spread out on a beach front location. Plenty of spaces around the several pools and lots if sun loungers around the pools and beach. Plenty of choice in the buffet restaurants, and great choice of spirits in the bars. We tried the Greek a la carts restaurant, which had a very nice set menu, unfortunately we couldn’t get into the Asian restaurant, but it looked very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Tanya in the restaurant/ bars, Vesselis in the Lounge Bar was friendly and made a fuss if our son. Anastasia at the pool was always smiling, but special mention goes to Manolis and George at the Beach Bar. We had our regular slot at 3pm sat on the stools at the beach bar, being serviced by Manolis, he was lovely and gave us lots of tips for places to go and things to see in the local area. Our son loved the pools, the water sports and the cakes! The evening entertainment on the beach was great, with regular live music. Would definitely recommend the Costa Lindia!

Just returned from a week at Costa Lindia Beach Resort, we’re a family of five with children aged 17, 15, and 12 staying in 2 rooms (they didn’t have any family rooms left when we booked). We had an ok time but it wasn’t amazing and there is no way this is a 5 star hotel! The resort is an hour away by car from the airport and the roads are not great and winding in places. All in all, we wouldn’t go back here. Good things: Right on the beach, beach is part shingle/stone at the water’s edge so beach shoes advised Lots of pools Pizza restaurant beside the pool by the beach made amazing pizzas Greek and Asian restaurants were good experiences (but we had to book early morning (2am) as when trying at 7am all the spaces had already gone) Air conditioning in the rooms worked well (well, in one room it did) Plenty of sunbeds both by the pools and on the beach Not so good things: We requested rooms next to each other but we ended up being on the same corridor with 4 rooms between us. Some of the pools are adult only (this includes the only swim up bar) - not made clear on their website or on the travel company’s blurb The 60m slide is no longer there, probably hasn’t been for over a year (you can see some of the remnants) Some of the pools aren’t accessible as they can only be accessed from the adjacent rooms, not really a big deal but you get the impression they’re all accessible from the photos Entertainment programme was very limited, evening shows were only on every other night and lasted around an hour Table tennis table wasn’t usable as it was missing the net Service in the restaurants was slow, at times the waiters would clearly be having an argument with the managers who were trying to chivvy them along Food in the main restaurant seemed to be the same or very similar every night and the same every breakfast Drinks are brought to you in restaurants (not help yourself) but if you get bored waiting you can go and ask the person by the drinks area Drinks orders were often wrong, even though they were written down sometimes The fish in the sea nibble, it doesn’t hurt but something to be aware of TVs didn’t work in the rooms, maintenance was poor overall (one of the balcony doors wouldn’t fully lock) and an air conditioning unit which dripped water when cooling wasn’t looked at despite being reported Very thin walls meant you could hear everything people were saying as they walked past the rooms

The resort is amazing. Staff and restaurants were wonderful. Our room however, was terrible. It was small, there was only a tube with a very short wall for the shower.water went everywhere. The tube was very slippery and we asked for a different room, but we’re told nothing could be done. There was a drain in the middle of the floor, so when you took a shower, the entire floor filled with suds. The second night, the bathroom sink pipe broke and water was everywhere. The TV did not work. I recommend this resort. But only if you can get a newer room with only a shower. The staff in the restaurants and bar were so amazing.

Pros People: Staff are fantastic; what you may be used to for a 5* but they went above and beyond. I arrived at midnight from a late flight. Reception staff offered me his own food as I hadn’t eaten since lunchtime. Security walked be to and came back to ‘check on me’ when I decided to get pizza from a bar a short 2 min walk away -another great place. Felt very safe and comfortable here. The cleaning staff do an amazing job, the place is spotless! My room kept immaculate. Room Plenty of storage, room, nice balcony area. Nice touch - robes & slippers & a one off complimentary mini bar stocked. Food & Beverage: Book the Greek Restaurant as soon as you arrive (online process) - it’s so good! Lamb and beef dishes tasted better than some Michelin star places in the UK. Variety in abundance at the buffets - great offerings. Drinks - good choice, nice cocktails, great morning coffee, some drinks are sweet for my preference. Car Hire: I purchased 3 day car hire from the rental service located within the hotel to be on the safe side. €85 euro, this was 100% covered by insurance and zero excess charges in the event of a claim. Fuel is expensive in Rhodes compared to some places but I got to travel all over the Island at my convenience, so well worth it. Spent €45 on fuel doing around 400KM Mainly straight routes so I found this easy enough using Google maps. Parking is free everywhere except some parts of the Old Town. Guests: There seemed a diverse mix of European guests. All I encountered, including the staff spoke pretty decent English. This makes us Brit’s very lucky! Cons If I’m being super picky … Bed wasn’t as comfy as I’m used to. Take a travel hairdryer if you are used to damaging your hair with high power heat, the hairdryer in the bathroom took ages to dry mine but was adequate & better for my locks. Safe in room an additional €30 for the week for me, which I wasn’t aware of beforehand. Massage prices in the hotel spa are overly inflated in my opinion. Full body massage on beach in Faliraki 90% less - granted you’d expect it to be more cost effective but … again just my opinion. Some entertainment (not much) but this isn’t a big deal for me as I prefer to explore the area I’m staying. Note* October is a great time to travel here. Good weather, not crowded. Table service, be patient with the waiting staff like you would if you were at a local cafe or restaurant. They work very hard!

I stayed here for a week and I wanted to put a honest review on. So the grounds of the hotel have been recently refurbished so it’s really nice. The pools are nice and clean and plenty of sun loungers. However the beach is absolutely awful full of stones and murky sea probably one of the worst I’ve seen yet! Now the rooms well its obvious some have been refurbed unfortunately not all of them though which is what I ended up with and they are very tired and dated the first room we were given the air con didn’t even work and the shower fell off the wall the second room was ok but the tv socket didn’t work the rooms I would place 3 star but clean. Trying to have a shower wasn’t easy as the hotel had crap water pressure and it would just go off mid wash you could be stood for a good 10 minutes full of suds waiting for it to come back on!! Location isn’t great and wasn’t a lot in the area so if you’re not happy on a sun lounger all day or sitting on a sweaty bus give it a miss. All in all NO I wouldn’t return
