Ibiscus Hotel

My experiences at the Ibiscus hotel from August. I got a courtyard room on the 4th floor which was just fine. The room was really small. There is enough space for one person, but it could be tight for two. There was no space reserved for the suitcase. There was no soundproofing between the rooms, almost all noises could be heard and especially the closet doors rattled. It's a good thing that there was not outside noise in the courtyard room. The cleaning was pretty poor, bottles were found in the closet from the traces of the previous resident, the mirror was really dirty and the tile seams of the shower were covered in black mold. More coffee bags were brought rarely, not every day when they ran out. The water bottles were not refilled when they ran out. The room was renovated, the bed and pillows were quite good. The room had beach towels ready, which was a good thing. A safety box was found in the closet. Room equipment also includes a refrigerator and a large TV. I had half board which included breakfast and dinner buffet. The breakfast was plentiful. The chef fried omelettes with fillings chosen by the customer. They were tasty but there were often a long queue. The food at the dinner buffet is average, nothing very high quality. Salads were varying, feta salad and tzatziki were tasty. In August, there were a lot of rush and crowded, but the service was functional. Nikos and the rest of the team's service were professional. I don't know about the evening program and massage services because I didn't use them. The hotel was perhaps not worthy of four stars in my own experience but due to its location, it is suitable for a nice beach holiday.

Fabulous hotel, modern, clean, spacious, the beds are huge and so comfortable. There is a spa, an indoor restaurant, outdoor restaurant and a beach bar. Its ideally located across from the beach and easy walking distance to the harbour and old town. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the aquarium across the road. Lots of cafes/ tavernas around. The hop on/hop off bus stops across the road. Good breakfast selection and huge portions for other meals. Can't wait to return.

IBISCUS Restaurant: Incredible food! Best Maitre d'H ever! Live music! We had dinner in the restaurant of the IBISCUS hotel in Rhodes, Greece. It was a great experience thanks to the excellent food: very tasty, varied, traditional Greek but also everything you could want from a European menu. Then the refined wine, which went excellently with the chosen food and at the end the very good quality dessert. But the most important: the staff, all professionals, very polite, very helpful. I must mention that NIKOS stood out, the best Maitre d'H I've ever met, and believe me I've met many... And last but not least, the live music from the terrace, completing the holiday atmosphere. Many thanks to everyone, we spent a wonderful evening at IBISCUS!

Really friendly staff room overlooking the sea was well worth it. The food in the restaurant was great always loads of choices the hotel was very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff always ready to help . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be there again next year

Hotel is ok,but the staff at the beach restaurant Are awful!!Rude and unfreindly.They make you feel unwelcome.They dont know how to smile.Your lucky if you Get a hello or a Thank you.The food is thrown on the tabel.The staff stand around and talk badly about the gjests.I know because i speak greek and heard them calling people crazy!Plenty of other places nearby that Are much better!

This was our second stay at the Ibiscus Hotel in Rhodes Town, and we enjoyed as much as the first time. Fabulous location right across from the beach and a nice 20 minute walk into the beautiful castle area, although there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a few minutes. The hotel itself is lovely - rooms are modern with everything you need and can’t fault. Our only issue was we wanted to keep our room as our flight was a late one (don’t know what’s happening at the moment but all flights with jet2 at moment seem to be late night ones, very annoying), and after asking the hotel a week before our departure, they let us know the day before we couldn’t keep it and felt like it was an inconvenience. Im sure with so much notice they could have made some provision but instead we felt like homeless people showering and changing in the hotels toilet.
