i came here with my mother in october and im not looking back, hotel staff was rude and obviously didnt want to help me and my mother. hotel was morely for animals than humans. cats are everywhere on the beach and pool chairs and the cafateria seats. every bush u walk past.the walls were dirty and yellow stained. i had the private pool room which was lovely but the water was alwyas freezing. overall, it was a relaxing getaway. please do not waste ur money as i would recommend the lindos grand next door.

Loved it, my fiancee and I went here for our first holiday and really enjoyed it. Service was good, especially by the pool bar. Plenty of food selections. Room was nice, not sure if air con worked, bit sporadic. Swim up room was great but too far from bar.

We’re experiencing our annual girls trip from Brazil! Our 2 rooms are just perfect. Adrianna from front desk extremely attentive and special thanks with a greatful heart to Madalin who is a “24/7” whatever happens Madalin is there. From bringing our luggages, to driving us to the beach and all the best recommendations inside the hotel and places to visit, he is the number one. He made our vacation very special with his 5 starts customer service. We will be back for sure really soon.

I had read prior to our arrival so I went with an open mind and chose not to let it dampen our excitement for travelling however we have come home in agreement that we would not stay at this hotel again ever. We arrived around 3am due to a delay with our outgoing easy jet flight but check in was quick and easy and we were checked in by a gentleman who explained everything to us. I would however say, that we did not get offered towels to rent and spent the whole week wondering where everyone was getting the green towels… The food was ok, but we got sick of eating cold food after about 3 days. The pizza was great but it could have been made quicker as the gentleman making them cooked 2, waited until the plates were empty then started cooking the next two which meant that you had to wait in a queue for ages. A big miss for us was the fact that this is advertised as a 5* all inclusive, however for breakfast lunch and dinner, you have to wait until one of the staff comes to your table to ever order a soft drink. There were times we were finished our meal before we were offered a drink. It is ridiculous that they do not have a soft drinks station where you can get your own. One night me and my partner were sitting for 20 minutes and hadn’t been offered a drink. Another member of staff had to tell the waitress TWICE to basically hurry up and serve us as we had been sitting far too long and could tell we were not happy. I agree with previous commenters that the big groups of Italians were served drinks instantly with no delay. Our trip was completely ruined by mosquitos. On day two I woke up with no joke, 50 bites all over my legs and feet. I couldn’t sleep because of the itch and there was no proper medical supplies to treat it. We had to spend a lot of money in the shop on site buying products to spray our room with basically poison in a can to try and be able to sleep at night without getting bit. We also refused to sit out at night from night 3 of 7 as it wasn’t worth getting bit. Everyone’s legs around the resort were just covered in them and I heard other people complaining about them saying how ridiculous it is, it is NOT safe to stay in this hotel unless you want to get bitten to death. At one night I woke up at 4am in tears because I was suffering so much with the bites. I told reception about this when we checked out and the response I got was “yes, everyone’s the same”???? Do something about it then. If you’re staying here, you need a mosquito net. We also spend a ridiculous amount of money booking in for the cocktail and Shisha night on the Friday night which was advertised at 9pm. We sat for ages and had to ask the bar man what was going on. The person arrived to put together the Shisha and was very late. It then took another HOUR before he gave it to us and at this point we were fed up. They are pathetic Shishas. It is a plastic box with an LED light at the bottom and don’t work properly. We got up and left after 10 minutes. If you h

We arrived on the 28th June. The entrance was very nice indeed. The concierge was polite and welcoming. As we arrived late due to flight delay we did not expect any food. But we're pleasantly surprised when reception said make your way down to the restaurant we have some food laid on for you. Once done come back up and we will check you in when ready. The bell boy was fantastic taking our cases and leading us to our room and inserting the lock barrel into the safe. You do need to pay €25 for the safe for a week plus €4 per night per room tourist tax upon arrival. I was a little disappointed not to have a card or a glass of bubbly in the room as I had emailed a week or so ahead of check in to inform it was our honeymoon. But that being said they did put us into a room which got the sunshine all day and with a good view of the mountains. As others have said room is a little smaller than the pictures make out and are in a little need of tlc especially the French doors leading to the swim up pool. Very stiff to open and noisey in operation. But for the most part you are outside and not in your room so it didn't bother us all that much. We did have trouble one night with the ac breaking at 1am in the morning I spoke with reception who tried to move us to another room temporarily until ours could be fixed but sadly the free room available also had an issue with the ac by this time it was close to 3am and we just gave up and said we're sort something in the morning. All credit to the staff by 08.30am ac was repaired. Things happen which our out of a person's control but the way they try to rectify was great. The AI food was fantastic always variety and was always topped up and warm. Service is very efficient my only gripe is they are so good at asking about your first drink but sadly its very difficult to grab a second. In the end I would just double up with the first order. Lots of different nationalities at this hotel and from what I see everybody could find something they liked to eat. The waiting staff are super friendly. The biggest negative for us was the themed restaurant. After reading reviews we decided to do the Asian but boy do we regret that. Massively disappointed. Took 55min for us to get a drink and our starters to arrive. Nothing appears to be freshly made. The spring rolls are the manufactured ones you get from a supermarket. American style coleslaw on sushi. Chicken wings over done. The main meals were shocking the pork neck was tough as old boots and inedible. The chicken curry was bland and tasted just like a microwave meal. What's sold as a fine dining experience really is nowhere near. We had two mouthfuls of our mains and decided to end the meal there and leave as it was such a let down. Whether there was a staffing issue that night as it appeared chaotic. Now for us the best bar was calypso purely because of Despina and Litsa these two women are fantastic honestly they work hard and make so much effort interacting wi

Very disappointed in this hotel. Dirty, tired and busy. We stayed here for a week in October, can’t imagine how overcrowded it would be in the summer as it was packed. The food in the restaurant is more or less the same every day, apart from the odd few changes. I’d recommend getting the freshly cooked food from the grill area or the fresh pizza’s (always a long queue when they were available) as all the other ‘hot’ foot was more or less cold and tasted old. Good selection of fresh salad. Wear mosquito repellent in the outdoor dining area as you will get bitten to death. The rooms… well there were a few of us staying here and all of us stayed in different areas of the hotel. We were in block 3000. Rooms were small, everything worked but in need of some TLC. Ant problems, shower drain doesn’t drain so quick showers only, cracks in mirror, lights flicker. From seeing other rooms we know these were slightly nicer rooms but still not great! We also paid for an upgraded room with a sea view but we didn’t get a sea view. We were then scared to move and risk getting a worse room… The pool area is dirty and overcrowded. The photos make it look really luxurious and spacious but you’re all crammed in like sardines if you want a sun bed. The best area is with the small pool near the a la carte restaurant as there were less sunbeds, so if you manage to get a sunbed it’ll be less crowded. The pool entertainment was quite fun to watch though. Pools are really really cold but really refreshing to cool off quickly. All inclusive alcoholic drinks weren’t great, either watered down or just weird machine made. Best drink was the slushies with added booze. You have to pay for bottled water in the shops unless you ask for it at dinner but you can fill your bottles up at the water machine near the pool bar(safe to drink). There is a bar which served nice cocktails in the hotel reception but these weren’t part of the package so the bar was always empty- real shame as it’s a lovely bar area. You couldn’t even sit there if you hadn’t bought anything from the bar. We were playing card games and were told to move. The beach area is alright, the beds are a bit rubbish unless you want to pay for the nicer ones which are part of Lindos Grand next door. If you are looking for an ok hotel that probably should be 3* with average rooms and not too fussed about having decent edible food then stay here. I’d recommend staying next door in Lindos Grand as it’s luxury in comparison.

Please be aware.. We had a terrible experince here. We were here for a family wedding. We booked early. On arrival we had been overbooked. Put into a neraby sister hotel. Rooms were substandard, damp, rusty fredge etc. We were not allowed to use the fcailities of that hotel so had to go to the Lindos Royal for food, pool etc each day. We were seperated from other family members. This is not a 4 star hotel. Too numerous problems to mention. Only received £50 each ( £300) compensation from Jet 2 even though we paid over £7000 for the 6 of us. The hotel mamngement told Jet 2 a lot of lies which it looked like they belived. I wish I had recorded the conversations now.

I had an amazing 7 night stay at the Lindos royal for a solo holiday. Yes the hotel is catered for couples and families but I never once felt awkward, unsafe or judged for being alone. The holiday started off to a rocky start at check in where my keycard would not work, was let in with a master key and just told it was late (11pm) so had to get sorted in the morning. This was then very quickly fixed in the morning and I had a working key card so not really sure why this couldn’t have been done the night before when I checked in. The pools are very clean and loads of sunbeds, I never had to ‘save’ one, however people would save sunbeds very early at the relax adult only pool where there was only a small number of sunbeds. The beach was lovely and a great place to snorkel, however was quite a walk down the hill and no bar so would have ti walk back up to the hotel to use the all inclusive bar for drinks and food. The beach is stoney so would recommend wearing water shoes. The main restaurant was kept very clean with tables being cleaned and set up for the next people very quickly, however there were some impatient guests who you help themselves to a table that wasn’t made up yet rather than another ready table and then helped themselves to cutlery etc. The waiters are lovely and will remember you and what drinks you had to get you another round if you wanted. The buffet was great with lots of different options and different every night with some usual things particularly the ‘kids’ food repeated each night. It was spread accords a large area so wouldn’t become too crowded with people. I was lucky to get a refurbished room which over looked the shared pool rooms with a balcony which was very private and no overlooked. The bed was very comfortable and loved the overhead shower, had great power. My room was cleaned each day and bed made up and given new clean towels daily despite not requesting this through the button system on the doors. Overall the hotel is lovely and with beautiful grounds. It was kept very clean. Yes there are areas that are a bit tired and old but nothing major being hazardous or a problem just what you would expect from a Greek hotel resort that is undergoing some work. I would visit again. Solo or with others to share the holiday.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The location, food, staff and hotel was all brilliant. We stayed here for 5 nights and never wanted to leave! There was a wide variety of different types of food at the Buffett for breakfast, lunch and dinner it was all very fresh and restaurant was really clean. We also ate at the restaurants on the resort where you have to pre book. We had the Asian food one night and Greek food the next which where both really nice. I would definitely recommend booking here. The staff where so lovely especially Adriana who was very helpful and kind to us. There was one night where the entertainment was especially good when a soul band called I think the ‘golden jones’ from Cape Town who where absolutely brilliant singers. Overall, I would recommend staying in this hotel we enjoyed every moment and it was such a special holiday we will always remember. Thank you Lindos Royal Resort!
