This is no longer Mitsis Lindos Memories. Hotel is stolen from Mitsis by certain people. So, yes Lindos Memories is closed!!

Second time 23years later. Just as lovely, if not better. Now known as Lindos Dreams formerly Lindos Memories. Merely popped in to show my husband the hotel. We were greeted by a lovely man who then showed us to the "new to me" pool side bar. All staff we met were absolutely lovely. The place is so so peaceful we would definitely return as guests in the future. We had too mocktails priced very reasonably. If you want to unwind in peaceful relaxing surroundings, you couldn't ask for a better place. The sand beach looked wonderful and the water very inviting.

DO NOT BOOK LINDOS MEMORIES HOTEL!! Myself and boyfriend have just had a week here from 14th-21st June. As the previous review stated, this hotel was part of the mitsis chain and had a wonderful reputation- unfortunately they have moved away from this chain and they are no longer a part of them. It appears the standard has plummeted significantly since this has happened. There were many unhappy guests here whilst we were here and we heard complaints being made daily. Here is a shortened version of our complaints of the hotel: - booked an adults only resort, but since the change in hands, now allows children - rooms are very dated, phone in the room did not work, safe did not work, awful grimey hair dryer, small bath-shower with a shower curtain (in a 5 star hotel???????) -when the room was cleaned and bedding changed, it was replaced with dirty bed linen and marked towels (which were not there before so it wasn’t like the cleaners had just re-made the bed for us, they actually used dirty, marked linen!!!) - the food is abysmal! It is not labelled for a start off, so you are left guessing what you are eating (very dangerous may I add if you have food allergies) when i brought this up with a ‘manager’ she told me that they have had ‘several’ complaints of the food and they are trying to ‘work on’ making it better, but you could tell she did not understand the severity of not displaying allergens -the standard of food was appalling, just about edible but not worthy of a 5 star!!! - the beach bar WAS good! They served wonderful made to order gyros, burgers, sandwiches, however mid way through the holiday, they changed this to a buffet style snack bar, which ultimately meant the fries were cold, the bread was chewy/hard and the chicken was cold. They turned a fantastic snack bar into something awful! The lovely workers behind the bar understood it was not good but stated the management were forcing them to change to this way of working????? - there is one bar at night. Often with only one person working at it!! It took an average of 40 minutes to get one drink on most nights. The tables were always reserved so there was no where to sit, how in an all inclusive resort can you ‘reserve’ a table? Consequently, we went out nearly every night which detracts away from The point of booking an all inclusive !! -the drinks were the best part of the hotel. Decent quality drinks, not like the usual all inclusive rubbish you get. - the private beach is stunning!!! But not private! Anyone can walk onto it!! It is also not ‘manned’ so the bins are often overflowing and rubbish littering the beautiful sea - a ‘fully’ equipped gym is a statement on the hotels website- if you could fit two people in this ‘gym’ that was crowded!!! It was awful!!! - the hotel is horrendously understaffed- the staff that are there are really trying but you can see how fed up and defeated they all are! TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT BOOK HERE! We have raised concerns with last minut

I’m giving this overall three stars for two reasons, firstly the room which was extremely small with a most uncomfortable bed and secondly the food which was always the same and always cold. However, the staff more than deserve five stars and I especially want to mention two of them. Marina on reception who was unfailingly polite and helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist and Maria in the bar who was efficient and effective but never too busy to stop for a quick chat and a smile. We enjoyed your company ladies, thank you. The two gentlemen in the restaurant were quick and efficient and always ready to help. The ladies who cleaned the room were also good with changing sheets regularly. The hotel itself is in a beautiful spot with uninterrupted views of the sea from the principal rooms. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place for you. Car hire is easy and cheap but there is also a frequent bus service a few minutes walk away. The place would benefit from investment and from our point of view the change from Adults only to allow children to stay was unwelcome but it is worth a visit and we hope to return again.

Everything is 5 star here and extremely good value. Trip Advisor are saying the hotel is temporarily closed but we are here and it’s not. It does close end of Oct and reopen April. We are going to book again next year as it is so wonderful. It’s a medium size hotel as you can see from the photos so you’re never one of the masses. The spa is excellent with Zoe and Maria providing excellent massages. All in all a great experience and looking forward to next year already.

We’ve visited this area many times, thought we’d try all inclusive for a change, this was a BIG mistake! Food is dreadful at Lindos Memories. I mean really dreadful! Insulting even! If you like your food, hot, flavoursome and fresh, strongly recommend eating in Lindos town or Pefkos restaurants, where you’ll get exactly that! This hotel are taking the p*ss out of their guests. Same food was served at dinner that we’d seen at lunch time, nothing is labelled, it’s a guessing game - you’re screwed if you have allergies. The food that should be hot, is either luke warm (if you’re lucky) or cold, it was a week of tomatoes and lettuce…. Waste of money! Bar star looked bored, shop wasn’t stocked and the woman was vaping! Waiters were nice enough, but need service training. Everything looked tired, someone fell through a rusty sunbed one day. On the plus side, good location, beach and sea pleasant, pool freeeeeezing. Much nicer places to spend your money on. Sorry LM, you’ve lots of opportunities for improvement, good luck.

For those who blame hotel abt management changes- why you didn't ask your travel company abt it? Our agent told us from the beginning it's not Mitsis and adult's only anymore even if a lot of website's didn't change the description. Hotel itself need renovation, it's true. But i can't say anything bad abt the stuff. All of them was smiling and helpful, including reception. One evening we've heard 2 lady's yelling at the receptionist bc of the room. And even then she tried to explain to them the reason of issues (as we understood travel agency didn't send to the hotel request lady's had made) is a smile. Honestly, we felt sorry for her. We were outside for half of hour and all this time they was yelling. Maria in the evening bar and George in the pool bar are very nice ppl. Smiling and always ready to carry on a conversation.

Its a nice hotel, some things are needing alittle TLC like the bathrooms. Our shower head had cracked and was shooting water over the shower also the floor and shower doors seals needed de-moulding or just replaced. We were there for a week and the bed was made each day but no clean sheets for the whole week, even though we had spilled a drink on them. We had water and fizzy drinks in the fridge when we arrived but they were never replaced even though we were all inclusive. We had tea, kettle and a coffee machine but no pods of coffee anywhere if to pick up at breakfast. We only ate 1 dinner and 2 lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was the same food every day, just the main meat was different with a chef cooking it for you which was the nicest thing there. Everything was also just warm enough to eat. Breakfast was the same thing everyday, even the chef did the same pancakes and waffles everyday! You have to find your own table and wait ages for a drink weather it was tea/coffee at breakfast or beer/wine/ evening drink. One evening i tried to get a drink with dinner we and failed, i got up went out of the restaurant over to the bar and got my partner and myself a drink to go with our food, the bar staff seemed confused but gave me the drinks in a glass as normally if you take a drink away from the bar it had to be in a plastic cup. The waiters were also clearing tables onto a trolly just adding dirty plate after dirty plate and because of this sometimes you had to ask for a clean plate so you could eat. The stack of dirty plates got so high they did fall on more than one occasion. The pool was freezing but the beach and sea water just a few mins walk from the pool was a lovely temp. The service at the bar was good but they didnt have all the drinks and some were pre-made in a bottle. You did always get a snack which was nice. On a whole it just seems like it needs a referb the staff need training, all of them. The food needs to change. I wouldnt stay again. We actually didnt book this place but were upgraded as where we had booked had over booked so we thought we would feel abit out of place in a 5star but this is no 5star, maybe it used to be. Buses are easy and cheap to use if you can manage the hill to get up to the stop.
