Really impressed with this resort. It has a very luxurious appearance in the lobby and the grounds are immaculate. There is a golf buggy concierge available to drive you around the resort. The food was very high quality in the restaurants but I was a bit disappointed by the main buffet restaurant. It was ok but not the best. The rooms were lovely too. We had the adults only area with private pool. The only downside to this resort is that premium branded spirit alcohol was not included. I feel like already spending a large amount on an all inclusive holiday I didn’t want to pay extra for something that I feel should be included. Also there is a beach bar which was very nice. But it was not included. So had to pay for food and drinks. These are the only downsides. Everything else was amazing! Especially the breakfast upstairs in the restaurant. I visited the gym most mornings and it’s had good equipments. We got a taxi to Rhodes town for €20 which was only 10 mins. Highly recommend. There is a bus outside the hotel but we missed it. One day we walked to faliraki and enjoyed a few beach bars along the way. Taxi back. Another day we walked to Kalithea springs.

This is our 4th visit to the hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing. The service is second to none. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool in the main building. There are a couple of small things that have changed since our last stay. We have always stayed on an all inclusive basis and the quality of the drinks has gone downhill. The all inclusive wine is not very good and soft drinks are now a cheaper version which seems pointless when they use a branded alcohol. It totally ruins the drink. I ended up buying my own Coke and mixing it myself. The rooms do need upgrading. Our bathroom had mouldy tiles and a very old shower head which I had to clean with a toothpick as it was shooting in all directions. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The aircon is set to temperature by the hotel and is not always cool enough. These things I mention obviously didn’t stop my husband and I having a wonderful holiday and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in style with thanks to the staff at L’Etoile restaurant.

Forest Fire Evacuation I was a lone tourist caught up in the recent evacuations, as a result of the forest fires on beautiful Rhodes. It was a scary experience being shipped around the island to evacuation centres & safe bases. Eventually I was transferred to Hotel Marquise where staff could not have been more empathic & kind. The first evening the hotel was full so I slept on a mattress in the conference suite, where access to a shower in the beautiful spa, bedding & refreshments were provided by staff. A young man, I believe called Stamatis at reception, ensured my safety & really went the extra mile in looking after my welfare, as did the rest of the staff, absolute angels. The hotel itself was like a dream after sleeping rough. Immaculately clean, the most comfortable bed & such a spacious bedroom overlooking the gardens. Every member of staff was so naturally caring & attentive. I spent most of my time at the pool, where I joined in organised games & met other people. A lovely relaxed atmosphere & the pool restaurant/ bar in the centre of the pools was magnificent. Smiling & happy waitress Georgia/Georgina always took time to check in with me at lunch which was so appreciated. The private beach was immaculate with comfortable beds, shade & a café bar. It had a private walkway to the beach & although it was literally a 5 min walk on a private pathway, the hotel would transport you there due to the heat. Main restaurant was highly organised, provided a magnificent choice of foods & catered for all tastes. You could also sit indoors or outdoors. Although I did not book this hotel & ended up here under unique circumstances, if I could afford to go back I certainly would support the staff & the hotel. Rhodes itself is a stunning & beautiful island with the kindest of people. I can’t thank everyone enough for taking care of me during the forest fire evacuation & I definitely will return to the island & hopefully La Marquise.

Nestled in a quiet valley just a couple of miles from Faliraki this luxury complex offers first class accommodation and excellent service at a reasonable price. Upon arrival we were told our rooms were not quite ready so we were given a junior suite for the first night in the adults only area. Next day we moved to the lagoon area where our room overlooked the beautiful array of intertwined pools which weave around the central bar & Gondola restaurant giving the feel of being in Venice. Reception was polite and very professional and the rooms were very clean and well maintained daily. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Angelo & Berna in the main restaurant ( and Asian cuisine) were attentive, polite and started our day with a smile at breakfast while our good friends George, Cristos, Daniel and Dimitris in the bar made sure our glasses never ran dry. The pools and shallow rivers wind around the resort just a few steps from the suites and are clean and safe for adults and children alike. Each set of rooms has direct access to these pools and sunbeds are everywhere so never a problem finding one. The resort is spaciously spread out with a myriad of pathways patrolled by several golf-cart style taxis which you can use to ferry you around the resort, to the main building or to the private beach by way of the hotel's own underground passageway. The food is exceptional in quality and variety and there was never a problem finding something we liked. Twice a week you can dine at one of the a la carte restaurants where you are treated to a first class dining experience. There is entertainment each evening from local dance groups and singers in either the rooftop bar or the main spacious reception bar depending upon the breeze. We made friends with George and his mates who went out of their way to give us the very best service with a smile and plenty of friendly chat. They are so professional and all the staff are happy to see to your every need. The beach is just a few hundred yards from the hotel grounds and the taxis run you back and forth all day long. Unfortunately the all inclusive is not available at the beach bar for some reason which is the only downside to the resort. Other than that it was first class and we would definitely return another year.

The hotel is stunning, clean and tidy, the pools are close to the rooms and you don't feel the amount of people but.. the pool is not equipped with a temperature gauge and is very cold even in the summer. The food served in the dining room is not at a satisfactory level and there are no special dishes for children... and for the drinks at lunch and in the evening you will have to pay a lot even though we were on a half board basis, they don't even give water for free. The performances in the evening are low level. And the cleanliness of the rooms was reasonable and they didn't renew our towels. I must mention that the transportation service inside the hotel is great with very kind employees

Arrived about 10.45pm and checking in was quick & efficient. Crystal Bar was open until midnight [as is the Luna Bar]. Quick drink and off to our room next to the pool on the third floor. Wraps & drinks supplied in your room for late arrivals. Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe/draw space. Terrace straight on to the pool. Dimitrius, one of the many lovely staff, would come round asking what drinks you wanted, and deliver them direct to your sun lounger! Lovely guy. Breakfast/lunch in the Da Vinci restaurant, again served by speedy & efficient staff. Always on hand to make sure everything was to your satisfaction. We had tables out on the veranda overlooking the complex, which was fantastic. Special thanks to Georgia in the Gondola Bar [We love you too Georgia!] who keeps everyone supplied with what ever they want. The Coffee Shop is not to be missed. Beautiful cakes, baguettes, sandwiches etc. Again, great staff in here. Evening entertainments was generally good [tribute bands/singers] and was either outside on the Luna Bar or the Crystal Bar in it was too windy on the 3rd floor. Stayed for 11 nights which entitled us to one lunch in the Gondola Bar [Very nice!] one evening at the Grill & one evening at the Asian [Great food]. All food was to a very good standard with plenty to choose from. All drinks were local, but again, very good. Maid service, as expected in a 5* hotel, was excellent and as with every member of staff, was performed with a smile. We would throughly recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff definitely make this hotel.

Wonderful stay at La Marquise. I was at the hotel for a wedding and it was so well organused, the food was amazing, the setting absolutely beautiful. I was upgraded to a room with a private pool which was like being a very rich person for a few days 😆 There was easy access to the beach, bus stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was really, really good as were the cocktails. The hotel was scrupulously clean and despite arriving after midnight the staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The arrival.snack was very much appreciated as well! All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Overall we were happy with our choice of hotel and the unusually warm weather was a bonus. I wouldn’t describe the hotel as ‘luxurious’ and nothing was exceptional, but a good choice. The room we chose was a highlight for us, and a reason to return to this hotel. We had a pool side room in the Laguna area, ground floor with a terrace, the best choice of room in our view. All staff were very friendly and welcoming We were pleased to discover the red shuttle boat to Rhodes Town and Faliraki from the hotel beach. Get there early as they allocate spaces while you wait in the queue Disappointments were: - cold plates at the dinner buffet = cold food. A very average dining experience which is a shame because food quality / variety was good. -indoor pool did not seem to be heated as advertised - crystal bar menu ok if you drink spirits. No wine, no liqueur coffees, limited beer choice, and cocktails were very watery (I was paying full price, not all inclusive).

If I could give this resort 10 stars I would! From the very moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. We were in the adult only area, with a ground floor room that opened out onto the pool. Wow! The room was amazing, luxurious and everything that you could want. We were all inclusive, and fortunate to have a black card, which enabled us to book tables via the app, in the a’la carte restaurants in the evening. These were all exceptional, we did also eat in the buffet too, and I can honestly say that every single meal we had was amazing! Special shout out to the lovely Carolos at the adult only pool bar (think that was his name?) Who knew our order after the first time, which made us feel special. Best cocktails served here!! Another special mention to Kostas and his whole team in the 3rd floor restaurant, where we had breakfast every day. All so friendly, remembered us every day, so polite and welcoming. Finally, a massive thank you to Christina from guest services. So friendly and went above and beyond for us. I honestly promise that there is nothing negative I can say about this resort, we are already looking at book again for next year. Can’t wait to go back.
