I stayed in the resort for a week with some friends. This is a very large structure with everything you might need for a relaxing vacation: comfortable rooms, a private beach (with bar), restaurant, pool, gym and so on... I enjoyed very much our staying, we spent most of the time at the beach (with an appreciated shuttle service) and during meals we could try the amazing cousine of Calabria, with ingredients supplied by local companies. Staff was always kind and helpful. Position is also logistically strategic: train station directly connected to Lamezia's airport is very close by.

We cannot recommend Hotel Resort Tonicello highly enough. The only pity for us was that we did not stay longer. Good food, amazing team/staff, beautiful pool and pool area, practically on the beach. We are a family of five and we all truly fell in love with this place. It is amazing value for money (we stayed off season in mid October). The view at breakfast time (if you can ignore the wasps) is breath taking.

We leave unsatisfied. The place and the structure are nice, but the management and services do not meet the expectations for a 4-star hotel. I booked months ago after calling the structure to ask if the sea had a gently sloping seabed and therefore was suitable for children ... I was assured that it was, too bad it is not true. After 4 steps in the water you can no longer touch it. The water is clean and transparent for goodness sake, but we expected a different sea and safer for children. The beach is not fine sand, but made of small light-colored stones. Further sore points: - Upon arrival they give us a sheet to deliver to the restaurant for the half-board included. After half an hour at the table they inform us that they had made a mistake, with embarrassment exclusively ours, because, as has happened on other occasions, when they make a mistake they apologize and that's it. It's also our fault for not having immediately checked what we booked some time ago, but the mistake was theirs in the first place. So they guaranteed themselves dinner at their place and it wasn't worth it... high costs and definitely not excellent quality. Even the takeaway food was not reasonably priced, see the attached photo of the mixed salad at 8.50 euros. There are many nice little places in the area to have dinner where you eat well and at honest prices. - When we checked the reservation we had made we remembered that it included an exclusive boat trip, but at reception they were careful not to remind us. When we went back to ask they told us that there was a problem with the boat and they would let us know, but they never called us as promised. In the end they refunded us 105 euros for this.

Very quiet, clean and welcoming place. Good breakfast, many varieties of cakes, the only shame is that if a family member can't wake up on time, the head of the family can't bring something to the room. This is really a flaw, a shame.... Tonicello hotel resort is synonymous with relaxation, comfort and well-being. Here we were able to taste the local delicacies, we were able to spend days of absolute rest and refreshment. Since our arrival we have been followed and assisted in everything by the very kind staff at reception, we were assisted by the generous staff dedicated to catering and we were spoiled by the staff who accompanied us up and down the beach... not to mention the room with a sea view, always clean and fresh! All the staff under the guidance of a careful management of the management. The only flaw was the excursion to the coast of the Gods cancelled due to an unexpected breakdown of the boat... perhaps an alternative could have been proposed... we fixed it in person... overall an experience worth a rating of 9!!!! Very kind and helpful staff, the maitre Bartolomeo and Nicola were super, always kind and attentive, they made us feel pampered. Our accommodation was large but with too basic furnishings, on the other hand it was cool, we slept without air conditioning. Quality and varied food. Beach a little small but like all in the area. Nice pool

I spent a memorable week of vacation, dotted with excellent food, postcard landscapes, crystal clear sea with little fish to accompany it :) the beach bar was really comfortable and complete! I wanted to thank in particular the kindness of the reception in coming to pick us up from the airport, and the constant conviviality. (Thank you Simone ❤️). If you are looking for a place where you can spend quality time together, or even alone in a completely reflective way, tonicello resort and spa is the structure for you!

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana, dal 22 al 29 giugno, nell’Hotel Resort Tonicello, il nostro giudizio è positivo, l’ambiente è molto curato e la posizione è comoda per visitare la bellissima costa degli Dei. La nostra junior suite era spaziosa, curata nell’arredamento e pulitissima, con il letto comodo e grande, l’unico difetto per noi è stato il televisore che aveva solamente alcuni programmi Sky, avevamo anche un piccolo giardino dove potevamo rilassarci dopo una giornata trascorsa sulla spiaggia. La zona piscina è molto bella, abbiamo usufruito anche del centro benessere dove siamo stati accolti da due ragazze molto gentili e competenti Tutto il personale è stato gentilissimo con noi, ringraziamo in particolare il caposala . Bartolomeo, molto professionale e disponibile . La colazione è super abbondante e con prodotti di qualità sia dolci che salati , è servita davanti ad un bellissimo panorama con vista delle isole Eolie, peccato che il cuoco che faceva le crêpes sia comparso solamente il venerdì del nostro soggiorno, siamo arrivati di sabato, che gli aperitivi venivano serviti dalle 19,30 in poi e che nel ristorante sul mare fino al mercoledì non c’era un menù del pranzo . La cena è molto buona con prodotti di qualità , il menù sia di pesce che di carne è vario, c’è anche la pizza che è molto buona, é stupendo e rilassante cenare davanti al bellissimo tramonto sul mare. La spiaggia è molto bella con l’ombrellone ed i lettini riservati ed è molto comodo poter usufruire del servizio navetta per rientrare nel resort.
