This resort is extraordinary! A Calabrian gem! I stayed with my husband and daughter the first week of August 2023 and we were amazed with this resort. The service is exceptional! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food is Michelin Star grade. Every meal was prepared with expertise and passion and the quality of food is extraordinary. This resort is extremely clean, both the grounds, restaurant and the accommodations. The beach service was amazing and we loved the pool area too. We will definitely return to this location and we commend the owner and his staff for providing a superior level of service and experience that we have not seen or experienced anywhere else.

It was very good early summer vacation. everything according to offer. Room and whole area were very clean. Cuisine is very good, especially fish meals. Staff on the reception, restaurant and bar were very helpful.

As soon as we arrive, the fatigue disappears because we feel so good about it :-). We are well received. The place is exceptional and the food too :-) One of the most beautiful swimming pools. Very bright, clean and comfortable. What more ? Nothing and thanks for everything :-)

Upon arrival at the Borgo, the sea presents itself in turquoise and overseas blue colors. The gardens are lush and remarkably well maintained. Comfortable room. Excellent meals, including breakfast which we had on the terrace facing the sea. The staff is incredibly kind and very polite. The Director is very accessible. and great simplicity. Easy to get to the private beach by electric cart. We appreciated the calm and were able to rest without moderation. We got into the habit of walking around 6 a.m., we were alone and could visit the garden, take many photos, admire the magnificent panorama that the sea offered us, adorned with blue and fiery waves. It reigns at Borgo Donna Canfora, an atmosphere of well-being, relaxation and discreet luxury. We will return next year in May. We highly recommend this hotel

Se potessi aggiungere una stella lo farei. Tutto superlativo. Il posto meraviglioso, il mare incantevole, la cucina deliziosa. Lo chef oltre ad essere molto bravo si è mostrato durante tutto il soggiorno estremamente gentile e disponibile. Nonostante in appartamento avessimo la cucina abbiamo ricevuto da parte dello chef e del personale di sala tutto il supporto per la preparazione dei pasti per la nostra piccola di un anno. Wir waren zu 3. und hatten 5 wunderbare Tage. Wir hätten erst ab 16:00 ins Zimmer gedurft laut Booking, wir waren schon 10:00 da und mussten nur 30 Minuten warten bis wir ins Zimmer durften, das war klasse. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos und sehr nah an den Bungalows. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Vorallem die Riesen Dusche ist hervorzuheben. Die ganze Anlage ist wunderbar gepflegt. Zum Meer gibt es einen kostenlosen Shuttle das ist eine tolle Sache. Der Pool ist ein Salzwasserpool und bietet außerdem 2 Whirlpool ähnliche Ecken. Die liegen sind aussereichend und unglaublich bequem. Der Strand ist wunderbar sauber und es sind genügend Hoteleigene Liegen dort. Auch die Toilette ist sauber am Strand. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr lecker. Das Personal hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wir haben nach Spagetti carbonara gefragt. Diese haben wir zu einem günstigen Preis in wunderbarer Qualität sofort erhalten. Danke dafür. Einen Auslauf auf den stromboli hatte uns das Hotel auch gebucht. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Falls möglich würde ich ein Zimmer mit Balkon empfehlen da hat man einen wunderbaren Meerblick. Sicherlich macht das Hotel dies auf Anfrage möglich. Auf Anfragen per Mail oder booking wurde im Vorfeld sehr schnell geantwortet. Gerne bei Fragen hinschreiben. Ich kann das hotel nur empfehlen.

Wir waren 3x in Vilaggio Gabbiano. Wolten einmal das oben liegende, etwas montänere 4 Stern Borgo Donna Canfora buchen. Leider wurden wir schon am Ankunftstag beim Abendessen enttäuscht Das Essen war unter jeder Kredik und auch die Bedienung war einfach nicht passend. Die Anlage ist wunderschön nur das Personal, bis auf einige Ausnahmen waren nichtssagend. Im Frühstücksraum gab es für alle Gäste einen Kaffeeautomat! Warteschlange....Ich möchte nicht weiter auf Details eingehen aber 4 Sterne nur für den schönen Sonnenuntergang und die Anlage?
