I like the location of this hotel as it is very near the airport, has shuttle service and is also right at the center of the Asian food/restaurant area.
There is a wide variety of Asian cuisine you can choose from all within walking distance. Dim Sum, Sushi, Korean BBQ, H.K. style restaurants, you name it.
As for the hotel itself, the rooms are spacious and clean. There is a rest and relax area at the lobby where you can get coffee, tea, water etc. while you wait or if you need to use a computer. There is also a gym if you need to do some small workouts. The best thing I like is the ability to open the top small window in the room so fresh air can come in. I always do that so I can turn off the air-conditioning and have fresh air instead. The weather in Vancouver is pleasant so I find it unnecessary for air-conditioning. Plus most hotel air-conditioning is loud. There is a mini fridge and microwave which really comes in handy.
As for improvements, if they can add more grip to the shower flooring, that will be safer for guests. I find it quite slippery as the shower floors are too smooth. Also, the shower water pressure is quite pathetic especially on the 6th floor, it feels like dripping water. I always look forward to a good shower especially right after traveling on a plane for over 10 hours. The dripping shower is a disappointment.
