I find myself writing this review after spending three days that were nothing short of horrible in this ‘hotel’, which was renovated in 2024. The only new things are the rooms (which we found at a modest temperature of 18 degrees), the rest of the common areas have nothing renovated. First of all, the spa and pool are embarrassing, dirty, with the mosaics all detached and at the bottom of the pool, as if that wasn’t enough, the jacuzzi wasn’t working. At which point we went to complain to the lady at the cashier (I assume the owner from how she dared to answer us) basically saying that’s how it is, and for the room, saying that she isn’t a “boiler technician” and that therefore nothing could be done except waiting for it to heat up. At which point we didn’t even go down for breakfast, to avoid ruining our vacation days even more. Speaking of the 70s “”””bar”””” located on the -1 floor… bartender with the TV and rock music at full blast, at which point we turned around and left! And to be clear, we spent €250 a night for a cold room, zero amenities and also towels and bathrobes that border on the indecent (worn to the point of having dangling wires). We will definitely return to Riva del Garda and we will definitely not stay at this ‘hotel’. With this I thank the old brunette lady at reception for being so rude!
