Villa Nicolli Romantic Resort - Adults Only

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Riva de Garda. Great customer service. My wife got a deep tissue massage, and she loved it (my wife is also a massage therapist). The indoor pool was fantastic. Covered parking and good breakfast each day. You order your eggs and coffee from the waiter, and the rest is Buffet style.

Cannot fault this hotel at all - everything was perfect from the super efficient, friendly staff to the beautiful room. We were surprised and delighted to receive a room upgrade and were given the most beautiful suite. Gorgeous neutral tones, silk stripe fabric on the walls - it was classy and elegant. The food was fabulous and delicious.

What a hotel ! Pretty much faultless throughout. Incredible staff who really couldn't have done more. Friendly and so attentive. On arrival I advised I was lactose intolerant. Every menu was adapted to work around this with great measures in place to ensure safety. Special treats / desserts at every meal. Food fabulous, hotel spotless, staff excellent. Can't say more really. Perfect quite location yet close enough to old town and lake beach and watersports. Junior studio with mountain and pool views was excellent. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful holiday.

The staff at Villa Nicolli are super friendly and welcoming. The staff on the reception desk are so helpful and the restaurant staff very accommodating. The bed in the room we had was so comfortable - I actually slept and I have insomnia! We couldn’t have loved our stay any more. Truly grateful.

This was our first time at the Villa Nicolli, a family-owned hotel in Riva del Garda) and I don’t think we have ever been to a hotel where the service was so personalised and the staff so attentive to our needs. The staff that served us well were led by Ignazio (il Magnifico) and those who attended to our needs throughout our week’s stay were; Ivana at Reception, Sebastian, Nicola, Maura, Nadia (a sommelier) who we plan to use more of her wine talents for our next stay. Renato (L'alchimista) was our barman, who served me with the best Negroni and Whiskey Sour that I’ve ever tasted. Thank you Renato! The only person we didn’t get to meet, was the Chef, who provided us with wonderful food all week. I gravitate towards fish dishes and particularly loved the Halibut dish one night, which was so full of taste, it was truly magnificent. The accommodation was really good and we loved the new pool area. The views of the mountains from there, were spectacular. In a troubled world, it is good to find a haven away from it all. It is said that hospitality is a gift of healing; reverence for the body and sustenance for the soul. This is what the staff offered us at Villa Nicolli and we are truly thankful to Ignazio and his team for making us a part of this beautiful family. Geoff (Rm 314)

We visited lake Garda and Riva for the first time & chose this lovely hotel as it was adults only and seemed somewhere special that we would celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed it was lovely we had a junior suite room 214 and stayed 4 nights half board. There are designated seats in the breakfast room and main restaurant which we had our evening meal & thought this was very well organised & a great idea. Ignazio ran this and was welcoming and kind. You pay for wine and water on your bill as you check out and this was wine we like merlot 36 euros and bottle water 4.5 euro. Other reviews said you can get cheaper in town but we thought acceptable to have the wine we like with our evening meal Evening meal consisted of 4 courses including desert and you pick one from each section if you want. They are small portions so recommend all 4 but we enjoyed and was satisfied. Some dishes were delicious a couple of dishes not to our taste but they did offer to swap. We loved the ambiance and relaxation of the restaurant and lovely lounge afterwards. It is a well maintained hotel and the outdoor pool is beautiful and relaxing after a day climbing mountains. We only tried the indoor pool once when it was cloudy and that was immaculately clean and a great spa. We missed out trying sauna and steam room upstairs all these are inclusive of your hotel you just pay for treatments. We loved Villa Nicolli & would return for sure.
