Hotel del Sol

I don't have 1 complaint about Hotel Del Sol The staff is great& very helpful anytime day or night I have NEVER stayed at ANY motel half as clean as this 1

The location of this hotel was the only thing positive about our stay. This place had absolutely nothing else going for it. Checking in was a hassle because I was early (and they wanted an additional $40 to do so) so I waited. Then no one was manning the desk or answering the bell. We finally got a room, and it was not a pleasant experience. The sheets, chairs, etc. were so well-used that there was no way it could be clean. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers, fully dressed. There were roaches crawling up the wall and on the bathroom floor. The baseboards were coming away from the walls (one in the bathroom had about a 3/4" gap from the wall, was dirty and moldy. The walls had damage in several places. The outlets were so loosed that plugs from appliances wouldn't stay plugged in. The remotes for the TV were not clean (but it didn't matter much because neither one of them worked. When we returned to out room the second day, our keys did not work. Once again, I had to wait until someone showed up at the front office (about 10 minutes) to have the keys re-keyed. People were using grills in the parking lot, and a number of people obviously 'lived' here and were moving between several different rooms (it is possible that it was a large group of friends in different rooms, but one look into the rooms and you know that was not the case). One of the odd rules was " no one can have guests in their rooms after 10:00 pm". My guess is that it was an attempt to limit ************ and/or noise. Unfortunately, that rule was obviously not enforced. We ended up cutting our trip short and left the hotel that afternoon (no refund). And just as an additional note to anyone thinking of staying here, the parking lot is way too small for the number of 'guests' so you park across the street or in the red-marked fire zones (which means if anything happened, the interference to the fire truck would result in a greater loss of property and possibly lives).

One older lady over prices people for early check in fee but majority of the staff is very helpful and nice best hotel in the Inland Empire right now

VERY dirty, hair in the shower, no toilet paper roll, smelled like cigarettes the moment we walked in, dirt under the beds, cigarette burns in the chairs. TERRIBLE!!

I stayed in one of the renovated rooms, first thing it smelled very clean beds were comfortable. I loved my stay. Thank you 😊

I did not feel very safe. There were a lot of transients and ********** around. The staff tried to give me the farthest room from the front office. It was one of the only rooms down a darker hallway with a pile of bikes locked to a close by rail. I refused to stay in that room. I was seriously scared. It myself and my daughter. I wanted to stay as close to the front office as possible and I was charged an extra $30 to move the room to a safer area. I barely slept that night. There was so much going on all night. I will never stay at Del Sol Corona again.

Normally have no issues with my stay. This hotel is the only one i use in the area due to location and availability. This last time their where very rude neighbors above us banging on the doors and windows in what seemed like 10-15 minute intervals for at least 3 hrs. After hr 2 i called the front desk to complain. It was a good thing i was very tired as i eventually fell asleep sometime after midnight. The people above also walked on their heels and must have been Samoan. They also for aome strange reason moved furniture around as you could hear things being drug across their floor/our ceiling. Just overall rude people that day. This won't keep me from going back as this has only happened about 1 out of 30 times or so.

We requested a ground level room, they didn’t have one and had to pay an up charge for a so called suite…,we would have gone elsewhere but booking through hotel.com it was non refundable. I would not book through them again…prefer to book direct… The towels were threadbare…I have never see anything like it..almost like rags..we were in an upgraded room that was very average…it was also very noisy…close to freeway…I would not recommend it

Stay here quite often. The area is not the greatest as there are homeless and sketchy people around, but the place is patrolled on a regular basis with ample lighting as well as cameras. Rooms are being modernized so the place is being worked on. The modern rooms are really nice. I've stayed in the older rooms and will not do that again. Paying the extra is worth it for sure. I feel until the cost of rooms match the other decent hotels, the hotel will draw those who cannot afford another location. Even if cost was equal to the ones like BW or Holl In, I would still chose this place based on location. Hwy access is super easy. Restaurant is amazing next door, and gas station across the way is open 24/7.
