"Came in for town for an event at Winthrop Coliseum and was looking for a nice inexpensive place to stay. Clarion Point was very close to Winthrop. The owner and staff were very friendly during check in and check out. The hotel is clean and smelled good. Our room was spacious for relaxing, it was clean and modern. They do have a free breakfast but the only hot items were potatoes, biscuits, and sausage gravy with little sausage. You could make waffled and toast bread. Since we were on a keto diet the only thing we could eat was the boiled eggs. Which they would have had scrambled eggs and a meat choice. Not sure if they change up the hot items routinely or not. They did have fruit, yogurt and juice. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, convenient and reasonable price place to stay."
