The Cathedral tour is brilliant looking at variety of fauna and flora that the caves sustain is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful/ knowledgeable. A particular shout out to James and his knowledge and enthusiasm is exuberant. Would recommend anyone who is passing through to stop in and partake in a tour and also stay a few nights in one of the lovely cabins. It is well worth the visit and you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful place, the cabin was very spacious and well appointed. Very little phone reception but it’s a good opportunity to be device free. The caves are amazing

The cabin we stayed in was excellent, large and well equipped. Nice BBQ which we never got to utilise. Went on the 3 tours and all were great, especially the adventure tour. Reception and tour guides friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Only problem for us was we caught Uber there and didn’t realise the groceries and restaurant were 5min drive down the road.

What a wonderful experience, tour guide is so knowledgeable. The caves are beautiful especially the cathedral cave Highly recommend for everyone but it is not disability friendly, steep steps and ramps After the caves there are some lovely walks and a cafe and gift shop

The accommodation at The Caves exceeded our expectations. The cabins were spacious, clean and the kitchen was well set out with utensils etc. We stayed for two nights and did two tours at the caves and we had plenty of relaxing downtime to explore the bushwalks and see some of the native animals.

We stayed in one of the cabins. Accommodation was spacious and well designed, with kitchen cooking facilities provided, as well as campsite BBQs. Evening restaurant options are limited to a nearby pub (currently closed on Mondays), or driving 20mins to Rockhampton. There is also an on-site laundry. Wallabies can be seen around the site, but as with anywhere in Central QLD, do watch out for snakes (we saw 2 pythons during our stay). Mobile phone reception was rather limited (with Optus, Telstra may be available).
