Sophie was a lovely host and the accommodation was just as good as anticipated. Cycling around the Beaujolais vineyards then to relax around the excellent pool area made for a perfect day in the sunshine. L'Echanson is a great restaurant as is Auberge de Clochmerle; we walked to both but booking was necessary. All in all a location to which we would definitely return.

Just a lovely place to stay in the rolling hills around Beaujolais. The lady managing Les Picorettes is charm personified, and she has every right to be proud of her beautiful property. Rooms were fabulous and the al fresco breakfast proved an ideal start to the day. The nearby village of Vaux en Beaujolais has at least two excellent restaurants.

We stayed here for one night en route from Switzerland en route to the Auvergne. We were welcomed personally by Sophie the owner and shown to a lovely room with views out over the countryside. There was a decent pool and loungers and Sophie made us a great charcuterie for our evening meal. Not too much around apart from a Michelin starred restaurant up the road but ideal for someone looking for a quiet break. Breakfast was also excellent.
