"Overall, it was a fantastic stay. The location is quite convenient and easy to find, right by Jinma Biji Square. Although the hotel doesn't have many rooms, each one is very stylish, and I particularly loved the decor. The cafe on the third floor also boasts a great view. A washing machine is available, which was a nice bonus. This was definitely one of the most satisfying accommodations during my week-long trip to Yunnan. The highlight, however, was the exceptional front desk service. The staff were incredibly patient and helpful, answering all our questions about local food and attractions. Plus, Kunming Old Street is just a few minutes' walk away!"

AAnonymous UserExcellent stay at the Intercontinental in Kunming. The location is near the lake and a bit further out from the city centre but taxis are convenient. Very good value with spacious and clean rooms. It's a very big hotel with great facilities, including an indoor pool, 24h gym, large garden, bar and restaurants. Service was fantastic throughout our stay, and the front desk (Xiao Fu) helped with various queries promptly and also upgraded our room at check-in. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserIt was a great stay. The villa's own hot spring was perfect. The pool was large and could be filled with water twice. Birthday decorations were also arranged for the children?
The staff had a sense of service and would actively provide help. The staff of the public hot spring were also very enthusiastic. The hotel's housekeeper responded to every request and even sent bath towels to the designated pool, saving us from soaking for a long time and getting our bathrobes wet. Breakfast was eaten in the Western restaurant by the infinity pool. The scenery was great. The staff would actively ask about our needs and always serve with a smile. Thumbs up.
I deducted a few points for the room design. One of the two bedrooms was relatively small, with a bed of only 1.5 meters, and there was only one bathroom, which was not very convenient. The outdoor space was amazing, with a hot spring pool, swings, pavilions, and grass.
By the way, the buffet at the hot spring center was great. It was only 68, but it was delicious and full of Yunnan flavor. This Kunming person had a great time.

FFirman LOne thing I like about this hotel is that it is not crowded with people, front desk is very responsive and they try their utmost best to please their guests.
Had a restful sleep and pleased that I was able to get hot showers. Didn't try their breakfast at their level 9 restaurant as they mentioned only certain days they have halal breakfast.
No in room fridge but there are convenience stores nearby, at night there are fruit sellers along the road. There is a hospital nearby and a police post. Pharmacy nearby and quite please with the area.
Even though there are No Smoking Signs, other guest do smoke in the hotel. And low season means there are fewer guest so, lesser smokers there, which I am happy about.
They have self service laundry room with one washer and a separate dryer. Quite happy with that too.
Thank you front desk ladies for your service and for the breakfast packs given to us for our departure to the airport. Apologies for not able to take the airport transfer due to my Mother in Law's knees. Hope to see you all soon!

MM305669****My single room, though around 18 sq.m., was small but perfectly equipped. All the facilities were brand new, and the design had a unique touch. The best part, however, was its prime location directly opposite Cuihu Park, and despite that, the room was incredibly quiet at night!
Breakfast didn't offer a huge variety, but every dish I tried was delicious! The fried Ersi noodles, in particular, were incredibly tasty!! They also had refreshing ice jelly and freshly brewed coffee.
What truly surprised me was the hotel's generosity. They started showering us with hospitality right from check-in, offering welcome gifts and coffee vouchers. In the evenings, they'd even bring fresh fruit like grapes, pepino melons, and peaches to the room. And to top it all off, upon check-out, we were gifted a whole box of delicious Yunnan rose cakes!
The service was genuinely outstanding! Staff were always proactive, offering to help with luggage both when going up to the room and when leaving. This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating!

The room decor was incredibly tasteful, coming fully equipped with tea sets and fragrant tea, which made brewing a cup so delightful during my downtime. The hotel's tea room offered a serene ambiance, perfect for truly appreciating the allure of tea culture. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Its proximity to the airport made getting around incredibly convenient. I'll definitely be staying here again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is about 10km away from the city center. It’s located right across the road from the Dianchi Lake and very close (within walking distance) to major tourist attractions in Kunming. This is a relatively small hotel with an elegant and relaxing ambiance. Rooms are beautifully furnished and very spacious. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of delicious options. The hotel restaurant offers an extensive menu for lunch and dinner and is open nonstop till late hours in the evening. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. In fact, we ate at the hotel restaurant all the time during our three-day visit in Kunming. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place, especially for leisure travelers who want to stay in a quiet area and be close to tourist attractions.

The location is perfect, very calm, but just around the corner of the city centre and lots of restaurants and shops around. We came back to Kunming after visiting the Yuangyang rice fields, and booked the same hotel again.
