The place is small and cramped with many paintings. Entering in and out is not convenient, having to ring the bell from outside. The rooms are small. don’t recommend. Booked elsewhere the 2nd night event having to waste money.

Hotel with very friendly people. Very good location, very central. The only thing that would improve is that it says breakfast is included and they leave a lot of food for you to prepare your breakfast... but personally I don't like it... you are looking for a breakfast that is basic but that someone helps you... additionally having even an oven in The room makes it impossible to use everything about everything.
The person at the reception is very friendly.. only he is unique and he had to go up to serve a client and his backpack was stolen..
He asked those of us who were at the reception at that time several times whether we saw him or not... I think he should have support to never leave the reception alone.

Friendly service, bit fully packed but nice vibe (we had the pink room ;) ) with coffee maker and extended (included) minibar (also for the breakfast - prepackaged). Can be a bit noisy across rooms but that didn't bother us much. And ... great location! We walked everywhere during our stay. Restaurant, taxi and bus located just outside the hotel.

Fully stocked refrigerator but no seating or dining area. Very limited space and crowded. Not comfortable.

This is a unique little hotel in the heart of Rome, walkable to Colosseum, Trevi fountain, the Forum and Pantheon. the hotel has so much character with its sculptures, friezes and paintings, feels like being in a quirky museum. The fridge is Full of goodies to make a snack and all included. such a nice perk! Staff are friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Barrett again when in Rome!

If you like hotel chains with bell staff, gyms and on property restaurants/bars, this place isn't for you. But if you like a place that has character and is a little quirky, like I do, you'll love this place. Yes, you have to walk up some stairs, and yes, the room isn't very big (which is true of most places in Europe), but I have never stayed in a place with more in-room amenities. A chair massager? A foot bath? A hot dog roaster? And I can honestly say that the free mini bar had more food in it than my refrigerator at home. The location is extremely central - all the major sites are walkable - but it was still very quiet at night. The decor is fun and unique. I would definitely stay here again.

Room is dirty and the small. Because of the environment, hazard of having mold, me, and my partner have severe allergy, and eye infection because of the bacteria. We’re trying to request a refund from the hotel but they refused. We should’ve request also reimburse our medical expenses. We end up going to see a pharmacist to get some medicine for the allergy and eyes
