Laura made our experience and the end of a 2 week trip amazing! The rooms are adorable, the beds are comfortable and the common area with snacks / coffee were a bonus! Check-in was quick and her sharing family favorite dinner recommendations provided a wonderful “local” experience! Highly recommend!

Very beautiful room with excellent view and very friendly host.very clean, in a central location, near to reastaurants and cafes. Very close to sightseeings, in front of tevere, amazing building.we will visit palazzio baj again in our next trip to rome!nektarios-nadia

This hotel was perfect! In a perfect location and the host Laura was so so kind and helpful! We ended up being later than we expected and she was very accommodating. It was very clean, chic, and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

A boutique hotel Flair for this venue. Room was very nicely appointed, with attention to rich and unique materials. The comfort was excellent, complemented by all the personal touches in decoration . Laura is an exceptional host, involved in the care and well being of her guests. Her home made baking is a delight. In summary, great place, fantastically located close to Historic Rome, but in an upmarket area, close to the river, with open air and quiet, yet full of restaurants and bars and other interesting shops. Trastevere is a lovely and peaceful area of Tome , and Palazzo Baj under Laura’s direction is a gem to enjoy

Great little boutique hotel, very close walking distance to the Collisum and other historical sites. Very comfortable and clean. There's a central eating area that serves the 4-5 rooms with coffee's, tea's and snacks. Our hostess Laura was great, very good communication with information for entering the property and room as it was a little confusing. Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect. Trastavere is very charming with several restaurants in walking distance and away from the crowds. Laura - the host - was very helpful throughout the whole process and welcoming upon arrival.

So happy we picked this to stay our last few nights in Rome after visiting Puglia. We didn't need anything with a ton of services but did want a clean, comfortable and well located room so we could easily check out Testaverde and central Rome. Palazzo Baj did not disappoint. Self check-in was easy as we arrived late, there are only four rooms and they are well insulated, so it's incredibly quiet, and everything in the room looked and felt new. Laura helped us arrange a transfer for 5AM to the airport and was available for anything we needed. Overall great experience and worth the value.

Overall: We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed Rome. This is not really a hotel but as previously mentioned, it is more like a guesthouse. Management greets guests checking in and all communication is via app. The common space has a few snacks but only expresso sized coffee. It would be nice to have a regular Keurig for brewed coffee.Generally, It was a pleasant experience for sure. Pros: The location is great and close to many restaurants and walking distance to most historical sites. Bus stop is also convenient. The room was very clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned. Great service as all questions were quickly addressed via mobile communication. Cons: The room is definitely small but manageable. Also, Having a map in the room for guests would be helpful so that they can better navigate Rome.
