It is a relatively good hotel in Rome, with easy access. There is a Chinese restaurant "Jinghua Hotel" next to it which is also good. There is a car rental company directly downstairs of the hotel. The breakfast on the top floor is also very good.

We stayed 3 nights here, base cost was $2,254.88 before another approximately $700 in fees and two excursions. After reading reviews and a friend's recommendation, we chose Flora. It is my opinion that the hotel staff - but for concierge Stephanie - does not know how to read guests. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into complete chaos in the lobby: kids screaming, 3 staff members working on 1 guest, 2 staff members checking in another while we and others waited. We were never told about the hotel's facilities: where breakfast was served, gym, etc. Our $751 a night room was claustrophobic and next to the elevator! The toilet abuted the sink. You have to walk sideways around the bed. We didn't complain about the room but I wish we had. At 4 in the morning it sounded like people were moving furniture on the floor above; we did complain about that and the response was: "At 4 in the morning" with an expression like "that cannot be." Nothing came of that. Just a dreadful experience! ONLY One concierge, Stephanie, recommended an excellent restaurant and one excellent excursion (the Coliseum; I didn't care for the guide who handled the Vatican excursion that was arranged by the hotel.) The second night the next concierge recommended a restaurant that was an American tourist trap. We had an appetizer and left and went back and asked for a better restaurant. (A family member here in the states, NYC, is a celebrity chef, originally from Italy, and we don't go to Italy to have subpar food.). The second restaurant he recommended was fine. On the third night, yet another concierge was at the desk and recommended another tourist trap restaurant with subpar pasta. I just left my dish. That was our last night in Rome so I was disappointed to end our stay on that note. You would have thought the concierge from the night before would have made a note not to send this particular guest to another subpar restaurant filled with tourists. As for their doormen, one morning the doorman called a taxi for us. For some reason he told us the name of the driver and the car number. He looked at me and was very specific about this. He cab driver charged us triple the cost. When I got back that night I mentioned it to another doorman and it became obvious they are aware of this cab driver doing this. He described him to a tee and said "You should have called the police."

Also, we went to the hotel bar. Not impressed with their selections. So the Marriott Grand Flora was one big disappointment. I would not stay here unless they would guarantee me a nicer room and learn how to read their guests.

We just came back from staying at this hotel for 3 nights. Staying here is like having your own private residence. All the staff from the front door, to the front desk, breakfast service and restaurant were exceptional, kind and professional-Ritz Carlton quality. We were wowed by their kindness and professionalism. Breakfast which was included for platinum guests was simply wonderful and elegant on the rooftop-not to be missed! The hotel seems recently renovated and the room and bathroom were new and elegantly decorated. I would book a superior room as it appears other rooms could be a little small for American standards. Simply one of the most discreet and elegant hotels in Rome. We will be back and highly recommend!!!

A beautiful hotel in Noto - excellent room, comfy beds, robes/slippers. Special thanks to Grazia at the front desk, Massimo the concierge, John-Franco our private tour driver - they made our stay very special! And the food, staff and view from the rooftop buffet were also fabulous!

It is located in a very nice area , near Villa Borghese and close to tourist spots. The staff is kind and professional starting from the reception and I would like to mention Santiana, Stefania and Giancarlo. What I can say also is that the breakfast is served on the roof top with a great view of the city with very kind staff and good service do it by Deyana. I recommend this hotel

Very expensive. The hotel lobby and entrance are nothing special, but our room was a corner suite on the third floor with a balcony. It was nice and spacious with a great view. The morning breakfast buffet on the top floor was very good.

No lounge access, no welcome drinks, no welcome gift (unless I asked for it, I got a pack of cookies), not actually being willing to offer a late check-out, later, I finally got my 4pm after negotiating with the second office clerk. I asked how much it would be for a third person to add for breakfast and it's already been added to my bill. I stayed in many hotels within the same category, and this one was far beyond expectations. Overall the hotel was decent and in a good location, the room was cosy, and I enjoyed my stay, their breakfast was also pretty good, however, they could do much better, I'm not sure who's managing this hotel, it's not managed well that's for sure. The managing director of this hotel clearly has never been a flying frequent and either just studied the theory somewhere, or got this job through connections, but has absolutely zero experience in being one on the road.

Hotel was in a good walkable location albeit about 12 min to a Metro (but the Metro in Rome is not all that helpful anyhow) but out of the hustle/bustle. Phenomenal city view balcony…360 degree for NYE fireworks. What really set this property apart in my opinion was the CONCIERGE; Massimo, Stefania and their team were extremely responsive. They assisted in setting up transfers, addressing room arrangements (we had a Family room for 5 that worked perfectly) and coordinating two easy and excellent private tours of the Colosseum and Vatican. They helped make our trip and our two most important things to see run smoothly without any issues. The hotel itself is nice. Older Marriott but very well kept and rooms were fine; breakfast on 7th floor terrace was a great amenity to start each day!! Great option for families in Rome!!
