The hotel facade is too small. There is also a smart key to enter. I just rushed to the hotel and it was really difficult to get in. I was wondering if I had found the wrong hotel. Turn over and be louder. There is still sound. Breakfast is charged extra. No comments. Just make do with it.

I travel a lot and I must say very rarely did I find the hotel staff so friendly, so helpful, so eager to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. This remark is valid for all staff at the Amalfi Hotel, from the gentleman at the front desk to the two persons in the breakfast room, without forgetting the lady who made up the rooms and of course, the Director. A big thanks to all as you really made a difference in treating guests like special persons.

This hotel was great. Francisco and staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We arrived after a 7 minute walk from the train station. Our room was small as others have mentioned but we expected that. Our friends had a larger room with couch and bath tub in the bathroom/shower versus our little corner shower which would be difficult for larger people. There are options in room choices so be sure to specify your needs when booking. There is a nice roof top patio seating area with views of the basilica where we enjoyed a bottle of wine with our friends. The bar downstairs will deliver drinks to you also. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked alright. Beds where comfortable and room very clean. Hotel provides luggage storage for day and called a taxi for us to head to airport when we were ready to leave. Would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed this quaint little boutique hotel. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. I enjoyed the complementary Buffay breakfast. The location is walkable to everything great, including the Roman train terminal, as well as the Colosseum.

The room we had was very nice and faced the street which had a beautiful view of the Piazza. The ceiling was really cool with the painting.

Perfect position to see Rome. Great hotel in a position to walk most places. Hop on bus right there of you want it. Breakfast is ideal for getting going for the day. Staff could not do any better. Highly recommended for anyone going to Rome

Very close to train station. Excellent location. Walkable distance tp Colosseum and other important places to see in Rome. Small restaurants close to hotel relatively cheap for dining. Next to beautiful church Santa Maria Majiore. Everything inside was new or recently renovated. Very clean and very nice breakfast. The shower cabin was small but convenient. The air conditioner was very noisy but for 2 nights was not a problem. The rooms are small compare to standard hotel rooms but everything was very conveniently placed. The bathroom was fully renovated and the cabin had a multifunction shower panel.

Excellent, friendly staff. The room was clean and we had the option of daily housekeeping. Good location where we could walk to a lot of the places we wanted to go.
