The staff and manager very rude. The shower was gross and had spots all over it, the shower head didn’t work and wouldn’t close. The toilet had disgusting res spots on it. The breakfast was always the same, disgusting and dry cold croissants.

Papillo Hotel Roma Worst hotel on the planet! I have stayed in many hotels in my life but one is as bad as it gets! Firstly, the rooms are very average, the shower leaked all over the floor in my bathroom and the windows were broken, the air-conditioner does not even cool the already stuffy room. The breakfast appalling: everything is stale and almost inedible. The attending staff are rude and disrespectful. The lifts are slow and tiny. The hotel is about an hour from Rome and Public Transport is a combination of both bus and a train to get into the city. Taxi to Rome costs between €30 and €60 depending on traffic and attitude of driver. There is no cafe or restaurant available anywhere around the hotel to eat at. It is essentially in a business park. There is a supermarket next door and an electronics store. There is a busy freeway right next door. My advice and the advice of 30 others in our group: avoid this hotel!

Facilities were comfortable. Was on a group trip so we spent very little time at the hotel but location was convenient and facilities were above average based on my limited experience in Italy. Would recommend the facility

Our flight was cancelled at the last minute and we were sent to this hotel until our new flight the next day. The staff made us feel welcome, the hotel was clean and modern. Thank you for making a bad situation better.

The room is nice, clean and big but the property is in the middle of nowhere. If you plan to do activities in Rome, this property is not for you. There is no train station near by. It costs about $35-40 each way to go to Central Rome (Roma Terimini) and about the same for the airport. The onsite restaurant has very limited options and the menu is only in Italian.

I recently stayed at a hotel that was an absolute nightmare. The staff was extremely unfriendly, especially those at the front desk. The food available was very limited and mediocre at best. To make matters worse, the hotel charged us a damage fee for things that were not damaged at all. The room was poorly lit and the air conditioning did not work well. Even worse, the windows did not open properly and after struggling to open them, they would not shut again. This caused a lot of discomfort during our stay as we were unable to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The experience was miserable and the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Save yourself the headache and choose a different lodging option.
